What exactly happened to our fielding once Steve Rixon left?

One of the reasons we won the Champions Trophy because we fielded well.

Needs to deliver the fielding drills via Skype. Pakistan teams need a tough taskmaster like Rixon otherwise they'll relax.

Fielders are destroying SSA's career... They should hang their heads in shame

4 easy catches dropped in 13 overs so far across two games. Enough said.

I doubt if a coach can suddenly fix their fielding.Fielding is usually learnt through practice as a teenager

Its not that. Our players would do same in pressure games and top teams

eh? You dropped plenty of catches in CT also.Even in the final dropped a sitter from Kohli.

No coach can fix this, they are dropping basic catches. It's a confidence problem. When their confidence is down, it's pretty ugly.

Pakistan team catching costing badly to the team

Imam dropped rohit when he was around 20 and he went on to make 113.
Almost cost the team 90+ runs.
In match vs Afghanistan more than 5 catches were dropped.

anyone else notice Shoaib Malik doesn't dive for the ball but would rather chase after it. I know he is getting older but even so, he should be fit enough to get the dive out. saves 1,2 or sometimes 3 runs.

He is 37.Even the likes of Ponting and Yuvraj had slowed down in their late 30s.

The fielding has been very poor. Simple catches have been dropped. Once you drop a few catches , you can get into a bad habbit of dropping every catch. This needs to change asap. I don't know if no Rixon around has played a part in this . But you don't need a fielding coach or to be a great fielder to drop the catches we have dropped.
