Aaron Finch speaking to the media:

"I think they have got such a well-rounded attack; You have obviously got the pace and height of Irfan, height, bounce and pace."

"Then you have Mohammad Amir who is fast and can swing it."

"Then you have Wahab Riaz with all-out pace, who can spray them around at times but when he gets his line and length right he's lethal"

"There are just challenges, as then you have Shadab Khan who is a world class leg-spinner who mixes it up a lot"

"Hasnain with his genuine pace with his right-armers and we saw him in the UAE earlier this year. He's got some real pace."

"Its an attack you dont get any respite [from]."

"But they are going to give you scoring opportunities and you are going to chase them. Its a T20 game at the end of the day; Its about thsoe first 6 overs being really important to setting up the game."

"I think it will be a different challenge, obviously they are number one in the world in T20Is and they have played some great T20 cricket over the last couple of years"

"Probably the big difference is their left-armers and with the batting, Babar Azam being number one in the world is such a rock for the other players to bat around him"

"I feel that they have some great spin options as well so it will be a great challenge"

So even Australians know that Wahab sprays it around a bit!

No mention of Imad Wasim the world 2nd best t20i bowler? Strange.

As long as you know and understand he'll dart and not spin the ball, you can take him to the cleaners. Finch knows how to handle him.

Loved the Wahab spraying comment. Even the opposition knows he's a spray gun.

He had to be a bit respectful though so didn't outright insult him. I think how Smith handled Wahab is still very fresh in his mind.

Eoin Morgan before the May 2019 series and World Cup: "[The Pakistan series] is a nice way to ease into the summer and get some really good, competitive cricket going. Pakistan are probably second or third favourites for the tournament. They hold the Champions Trophy – playing extremely well to win that, in England – so it’s a series we’re all looking forward to."

It scares me at times when opposition captains say all the feel-good things about Pakistan :starc

This statement shows he clearly doesn't know what he's talking about.

Amir is fast and swings it?
Shadab is worldclass?

Finch is being a gentleman here.

Lol you think no team knows that.

Every team knows he darts it. He's super accurate with his stump to stump line and consistent which is why you can't take him to the cleaners.

We are a gun team if we get things right. Shadab and Wahab's unpredictability is unfortunate but equally they are capable of being very good.

No captain however pays such glowing tributes to our batting (Babar aside).

Don't think they rate Pak's batting apart from Babar do they.

So you're saying every team thinks he spins the ball and haven't done their homework on him?
