2007 They had Imran Nazir, Azhar Mahood, Hafeez and couple of other dead players.

2011 They had Akmal, Hafeez, Asad Shafiq, Razzaq, Younis Khan.

2015 They had S.Maqsood, Younis, Akmal and alottaa other dead wood.

2019 They left their 2 best bowlers at home and picked 2 rookies who looked good on & off in the PSL which is not even 50% of the quality of international cricket.
Brought back from the dead batsmen who should have retired like Hafeez, Shoaib Malik. A captain whos not even assured of his own position if he wasnt the captain, not to mention clueless, overweight and looong time out of form.

This is a messed up pattern happening every 4 years and this team aint going nowhere. They dont deserve to go through and heads should roll once they come home.

Heads will roll this is business as usual in PCB

PM should dissolve PCB and privatize it to some MNC

2011 was a good team for the conditions. Fielding let them down there otherwise would have won.

2007 was just a massive collapse all round even with a good team. Same like India in 2007.

2015 was a result of investments not paying off. Basically India invested in Rohit and Kohli who took our cricket to this level, Pakistan invested in shehzad and akmal who both were supposed to carry Pakistan cricket for next 10 years but failed miserably for various reasons. So 2015 team never had a chance because they couldn't develop their own Rohit and Kohli.

2019 team got a good top 3 and amir. But lack all rounders and has the worst captain ever. Sarfaraz needs to be sacked he's absolutely clueless and doesn't deserve a place in the team. His batting is absolutely disgrace

After wasim teams fighting ability went down
2019 team is not a v good team but they have performed below their ability
Management could not get optimum performance out of the system

The difference is after Malik, Hafeez we have literally no "experienced" players.

Shinwari + Junaid Khan. After amir they are the ones who have beeb performing up front

You can’t have a bowling attack of all left arm seamers. Pick one per match, maybe two but you need to challenge both sides of the bat (seam in, out) ok if one is 6.5 ft and one is 90mph adds a bit of variety but amir, junaid and shinwari are all about the same height and pace.

The difference is after Malik, Hafeez we have literally no "experienced" players.

Having Hafeez and Malik as seniors there in and of it shows how low we've fallen.

Ideally only Hafeez should've been selected

Same sequence of events will happen:

1. The seniors will be "dropped"

2. Youngsters will play a series or two and probably fail

3. Seniors (one at a time) will make it back to the team and perform "once every five games" which will be good enough to keep them till the next world cup

4. These same batters who will then be classified as "the back bone of our team" will play every game and fail miserably because we were too satisfied with their "once in every five inning performance"

4. The sequence will then start over again

Meanwhile India will invest in youngsters and keep underperforming seniors (or the ones they don't think will benefit the team in the long run such as as Jadeja, Ashwin, Shami, etc) out of the team. They would ideally find a bowler similar of Bumrah's caliber and then defeat us again in the next world cup in their home soil.
