Pakistan ISI: Doctors protest against spy agency over beating

Medics went on strike and the military was criticised after Dr Abdul Hameed was held for several hours on Saturday.

Protesters accused the army and its Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) spy agency of "state hooliganism".

Campaigners say tens of thousands of tribal residents have been killed or disappeared during years of conflict.

I guess "human rights violations for FATA residents are not as important as those of stone throwing mobs in J&K though!

I can't claim to know what's going on. I'm not in FATA. why does the BBC headline blame the ISI?

Because that's who the Medics accused? For some one who tries so hard to focus on 'concrete evidence' and using 'logic' to support claims...you do a very poor job...just sayin

Horrible if true but since Pakistani Military has a history of abusing the people FATA so its probably true. People involved should be arrested, Doctor probably saw their faces so it shouldn’t be hard to identify them. People will keep speculating if the criminals get away.
