Pakistan need a wicket taking Mohammad Amir

As leader of the bowling attack, Pakistan need wickets from Amir to win matches.
End of the day, his economy looks good but less beneficial for Pakistan.

He bowl right handers on 4th and 5th stumps, rather in stumps, which reduce the chances of wickets. He is also seems satisfied on good economy but management need to define his role and expectation.

He has zero ability to take wickets. It is not even funny anymore. There is a reason why he doesn't have a 5-fer in ODIs. Wicket-less for 2-3 matches and then follows it with a 1-2 wickets, before going wicket-less again.

Thankfully we have a genuine wicket-taking pacer in Hasan.

Aamer is not wicket taking... it painful to see him bowl... he bowls full and almost every delivery goes for runs.. as we can see, he is not a good bowler especially at death... the only thing he gets credit for is bowling 2 overs economically at the start of the innings... and that is because of batsmen being catious and settling in

He is not a wicket taker. Just got a bit lucky hitting a good patch during pre ban days.

He's still a great bowler, most of his deliveries leave you excited because they're just so close to a wicket taking delivery by just a few centimeters. He's the most economical of our bowlers too. I still love him.

On many occasions his opportunities to get wickets are ruined by our poor fielding. But I cant tell what's missing. It makes no sense.

Teams play him cautiously that's the reason.
Even Starc was wicketless agains NZ and In the first half of the bangladesh innings. Just took out some tailenders.

In these conditions it's very hard to take wickets unless batsman go after you.
