It's sad how this wonderful and IMPORTANT thread has faded away and missed by so many posters. I think this is an extremely significant matter for the management to look into. Hasan Ali is only 23 and this is the time when fast bowlers are most vulnerable to injuries, as Madplayer would agree. Especially when you're bending your back, bowling in the 140's and bowling bouncers on these flat highways of UAE in very hot conditions.
He plays every ODI, every T20i and most Tests for Pakistan. He plays the PSL, the CPL, the BPL and now the PCB will also push him to play the National T20 cup. It is only a matter of time before he gets injured and Pakistan are deprived of a quality bowler. We've seen it happen so many times, Junaid Khan, Anwar Ali, Umar Gul - whenever they return post-injury, the bowler isn't the same.
Pakistan should NEVER have played him after the 3rd ODI considering we'd already won the series. I understand that they were looking to make use of his form for him to get some cheap wickets against a struggling Sri Lanka but this why the saying that goes, "Cricket isn't a game of stats and figures" is so important. These meaningless stats don't account to much for cricket is a TEAM sport and his contributions in more important matches will mean much more to his status.
Looking at how many fast bowling options we have, I think he should never again play so many matches on the trot. Mickey seriously needs to look into this otherwise we may have another Fizz, Pattinson, Cummins, De Lange in the making.
