All of them start fit and aggressive, but once they get into the team that's it, downfall starts and they try to stay there by politics etc instead of working on their game, the stomachs become bigger and skillset smaller. These players will also turn out the same if they ever get into the national setup.

Not just the pitch.

Pak bowled pretty well. Kept the ball straight and slow.

The initial 5 overs are the key. Decent to bat when the ball is hard and new. Once it becomes a bit soft, it is very hard to score.

Well...that maybe true however, South Asian diet has a lot MORE to do with it. After 25, it is harder to burn fat for most if you can't control your carbs. The SA chapati/naan/rice culture doesn't help!
