Pains me to say this but surely the PCB should hire curators and expertise from India.

How is it possible that inspite of the same weather, atmospheric, culture b/w the two countries, India is routinely able to produce balanced pitches with excellent pace, bounce for pacers, rank turn for spinners and good batting wickets which aid stroke play.

Pakistan can atleast try and produce Indian style pitches in Pakistan if producing Australian, South African and English pitches are impossible.

i don't think these pitches are due to the failure of curators. i guess they are just instructed to produce these by the management.
so you don't need new curators, just need a change in management's attitude. i thought they won't produce aussie series like tracks because WTC is at risk but boy did they prove me wrong. revenue, individual records matter more than WTC to them.

Some one posted the same pitch picture a few weeks back. It looked different with grass on it.

It's the case of being too scared. Babar and Co. should not be so scared. Just put result oriented pitches and if opposition outplays then it's fine.

Didn’t pcb fly over Australian or English curators recently to put on an entire clinic for our local personnel?

Babar is a very reactive captain sadly. The fear of failure is very deeply rooted, and is a self fulfilling prophecy too. These things don’t just go away by doing nothing. He needs to get therapy / psych work done with a sports psychologist, otherwise he should move aside and let someone else take the reigns.

Its not that Pakistani curator cannot produce lively wickets , if they are order to produce dead wickets , they will do it.

You are wrong india is so diverse that north side in kashmir,Himachal, Utrakhand, Punjab are atmospheric conditions are very similar to Sena countries, And Australia. You can say same about North east, Sikkim,Assam, Arunachal Pradesh though cricket isn't popular there but their domestic pitches suits pace bowlers. While I see balanced wickets in West bangal andin south of india mostly turning tracks.

Pakistan like atmospheric conditions are in Rajasthan,Up, Gujrat Mp but Still these state pitches support Pace and spin.

It's ramiz Raza and Babar Azam who demands these belter pitches So babar can score a few hundred and improve his record.

Pakistani curator make decent pitches in domestic as i have seen pakistani people saying it here and Africa tour of was also healthy pitches so I don't think so pakistan curators are incapable of making wickets it's just management and captain's demand.

The same curator has been making good pitches in Rawalpindi. This was an order from above and he complied.

India deeply cares about Test cricket and so pitches favour them. Pakistan's are so bad and the batting so weak, it only benefits the opposition

This hypocrisy by ICC has been highlighted several times. When Australia folded for 24/9 at Newlands nobody made peep about the surface. How about the ongoing test at Perth? 598/4 & 74/0. They have doube standards always.

And the 3rd test between England and SA this year. There was more seam movement at that venue than gas been ever recorded but not a peep from the biased ICC

This is why bcci manhandles ICC once in a while. Just to let "them" know that the system may be theirs, but it's the Indian money that keeps the system running.

Lol this guy keeps bragging about Indian money in every single post. Don't you get tired of this self-oriented attitude?

The way ICC behaves with certain boards is evident of an inherent bias they carry since decades. Certain boards get away with a lot of things. So do their players. Even bcci with all its money has to face it unless they put it across who runs the finance. Thats the sad truth.

If bcci didn't have the money power, certain boards will be all over them like a rash. Arm twisting them.

There is pitch but there is the ball as well with much pronounced seam in the form of SG in India. So its the combination of both which provides that home advantage in my opinion in India.

If Pakistan cant produce pitches of the quality they did against SA, BD on consistent basis then there can be an argument of using either dukes, greys (Pak domestic structure had that previously) or some other ball which can offer a more even contest.

As currently the combination of mediocre wickets alongside Kookaburra is just not working.

Do you know that India had bid for the 1983 WC to be held in Asia? It was denied on the grounds of 60 overs per innings cannot be completed in Asia due to light issues.

Do you know that bcci then offered to guarantee $5mn for the 1987 WC, while Prudential had paid £300k for the 1983 WC. It was after this that the WC was awarded to Asia.

Do you know that even though Jagmohan Dalmiya won the ICC presidency in 1996 25 votes to 13. But since certain boards wanted Malcolm Gray as President they scuttled the process. Finally Dalmiya was made President in 1997, after his acumen made ICC get $50mn in revenue from the 1996 WC.

Do you know that even after he was elected President and he went to take charge at the ICC HQ at Lord's, he was told there is no office space for him and he was not expected to come to the office. It was after he made the ICC staff to report to him twice a day for meeting inat his suite at The Dorchester that they arranged a office for him.

Why is Stuart Board not punished despite so many transgressions?

Jimmy Anderson had a physical altercation with Jadeja. When bcci complained, conveniently the CCTV footage couldn't be produced by ECB. He got off.

Why was one board trying to scuttle the IPL in 2008?

Do you know that the copyright of all cricket laws are held by MCC? Is there any other sports where laws are held as copyright? If yes, by a private club?

If money was not a factor, ICC World still br Imperial Cricket Council.

This! I hope all Asian countries use SG ball.
