Pakistan should persist with Aamer Yamin and Faheem Ashraf

Faheem was awful with the ball today but I still think he has a lot of potential. Excited by him, can be an exciting all rounder. No doubt Aamer Yamin was better than Ashraf today.

He lacks a bit of variety for T20s, just bangs it in back of a length.

But he has immense potential

Faheem needs to go back to domestic cricket, or the bowling coach should grab him by the ear and tell him what he's doing wrong. He really needs to learn how to use variety in his bowling, and not just the same crap he serves up every over.

S Afridi is good, but he is very raw. The bowling attack we have right now is good enough to go up against the best batting line-ups in the world. Hasan and Amir are world-class LOI pacers. Junaid was sorely missed throughout the ODI Series, he is very under-rated on here. Faheem, although got some stick today, is a good find as is Rumman Raees, who's a smart bowler. Yamin has to increase his pace, but he bowled tremendously well today to Guptill and co today. Usman will take a bit of time to make a comeback, so lets not talk about him now.

Shadab and Imad round up the spinners, with Nawaz joining them on turners. Not to mention, these bowlers are still young. Just look at their ages. They have a lot of learning to do still.

Well, he is good enough to be in national team, considering we are opening with 125+ bowlers with 5'7" height, extra 10 clicks and a foot is a huge upgrade. Secondly Pakistanis don't learn anything in domestic. If Harris Sohail has been part of national team back in 2011/12, it would have done world of good. They get better fitness advice and polish their skills with national setup... I am hoping he shines in PSL, get picked. He is vital for our chances at WC. Our pace battery is filled with Trundlers, only Junaid can survive with experience, rest are not good enough. Pakistan need to go back to pace is king mantra...Domestic is such a garbage ATM!!

Absolutely agree! Shaheen has to come in ASAP. Said it months ago. He will recede in domestic cricket. He has the X factor and will be better at full international level imo than u19!

Shaheen should come into the team for the Zimbabwe tour.

I hope he does not get selected for the England tour, as that will be too early.

So again i would say Yaamen > Faheem.

In terms of batting Yamen is >>> Faheem while in bowling Yamen is sometimes equal and sometimes better than Fahem.

I dont know why you people think that Yamen is some Gully Mohalla Player?

Hope today's performance can enlighten you people a bit.

Yamin averages 30+ with the ball in domestic limited overs cricket, and it shows in his international performances.

One good performance doesn't make him better than Faheem, who clearly is better with the ball and may be better with the bat.

Neither is exactly an Abdul Razzak all rounder but Faheem looks to be better. I'm more than happy to be proven wrong and both turn out as world class all rounders because boy does world cricket need pace all rounders.
