Pakistan Super League 2019 - Speed Watch

Rauf 140kph... What a disappointment, no where near to 150kph

Nothing quicker than the speed at which Rahat is picking up wickets:))

Fastest ball of Day One by Haris Rauf.

145 kph.

He bowled ok except for his 12th ball which was lose and got hit for six. After that Hafeez did not trust him to owl his remaining 2 overs.

Would have loved to see another over atleast where he might have bowled 147 148.

Shaheen's fastest ball today was 143 followed by 141 kph.

Hafeez should’ve bowled him out & could’ve hit 145+ in 3rd of 4th over.. Wahab should hit 150 if he’s playing

Brilliant captaincy considering Haris is supposed to bowl good yorkers, but the ingenious Professor opted to bowl others, with Brathwaite, Rahat and Yasir combining to concede 40 runs in just three death overs. :genius

Demoting himself in the batting order needlessly for Devcich etc and not giving Haris atleast one over more was quite poor from Hafeez.

Minus that one six of his bowling his Eco was 6.0.

Brathwaite did not merit another over when Haris has reputation to bowl fast bumpers and yorkers.

Viljoen and nepali leggie need to come in playing eleven at expense of Devcich and Brathwaite.

Devcich was easily Lahore's best player last year, so I don't think it's a good idea to drop him, but I agree regarding Brathwaite.

Reckon only Rauf & Musa will bowl above 145kph with Rauf getting close to 150kph
Guess it’s Rauf target to get to 150kph as it’s on the back of his shirt

How is the speed being measured in the PSL?

Some of the speeds coming through from across the different formats, in different countries seem odd to me.

Moeen Ali, yes the off spinner from England, was clocked at 90mph in the third test against the Windies.

So exactly is going on?

Guess the speeds guys as half the time the speed gun is not woking.

Wahab Riaz - 146kph
Haris Rauf - 145kph
Hassan Ali - 145kph
Sohail Khan - 144kph
Mohammed Amir - 143kph
Shaheen Afridi - 143kph

Let’s see if Musa or Hussain gets to this list & if 150kph is breached by any Pakistani bowler 😀

Damn, no Sami on the list. Looks like his age has finally caught up with him.

Man how is Wahab still the quickest bowler in Pakistan. We need someone to step up, 1 bowl at 145 is not enough from Haris Rauf.

I think he will be quicker tomorrow. Definitely a case of nerves in the first match. Hopeful he can touch 150

Faheem surprisingly quicker than his action would suggest

Sami's delivery to Afridi was his fastest 143 kph.

His fastest of PSL 4 until now.

Fahim have woken up it seems.i wish he bowls with same intensity in international

Seriously the new crop of young bowlers doesn't have pace at all. First we already lacking even a half decent young batsmen and now the pacers coming not quick. enou

The man is 38 years old. It pains me to see a guy who had pace but could not do anything useful with it. How many bowlers in history have the natural gift of pace?

that ball from haris that went between babar's legs was 150 but speed gun didn't work in those 3 balls

Too quick for the speed gun, which if I'm honest I don't have much faith in.

Indeed.

With so much ease Sami used to bowl 150 clicks. His Test Debut was just amazing to watch back in the day. On his Test debut he was express so it wasn't the usual case that with time in int cricket he gained pace rather it was raw pace in hand from the word go.

AAG from Rauf

Indeed. Very few bowlers have beaten Babar for Pace.

He is not just Fast but very skiddy aswell.

He has that Fast bowlers attitude too
" Kharhakk ". Exchanged few words with Babar too and spurred him On.

Haris is not Express but He is indeed Fast.

I mean Real Fast not pseudo Fast.

I will straight away take him for t20I.

Wahab, Shaheen, Rauf + Rana ji is a pretty quick attack for T-20's. In dry conditions with some reverse swing we could be good again (pace wise)

Hes bowled a number of deliveries in the 146-148 range.. And dead straight too

Who will Bowl the Fastest Ball of PSL 4 ?

Competition is going to be between

1. Aaron Summers

2. Wahab Riaz

3. Haris Rauf

4. GC Viljoen

5. Mohammad Musa

6. Shaheen Shah

I think if Khi give Summers a go He can clock fastest delivery of PSL 4 and Wahab also has a chance.

From Pakistan point of view now my eyes are on Mohammad Musa to see where he stands in terms of Pace.

Hope Haris touches 150 kph since he has touched 148 kph twice in Today's match. Haris is very exciting prospect especially with his yorkers precision at 145 kph clicks.

Haris Rauf's recorded speeds against Karachi Kings in his final over:

148kph
139kph
146kph
144kph
144kph

Does these speeds takes account of slower balls as well if no than clearly disappointing stuff from all pak pacers, no one can avg 140ks even in t20s
