Brilliant to see young bowlers like Hasain, Musa, Shaheen and Rauf leading the speed charts. They will only get faster.

Hasnain is 6 inches taller then Musa that is huge when was the last time we had 6 foot plus pacer who bowled 90 mphHasnain isn't unique pace wise. People just have impression that he's so quick because of one delivery at 151. He's no different to Musa
To be honest bowling the one delivery in the late 140's, early 150's doesn't count. It is the average speed which matters and if that is in the high 140's, early 150's then we are talking
The 1st lesson which i learnt on PP as a young poster was that not even Shoaib Akhtar or Brett lee averaged in early 150s. Maximum is mid 140s. Talking about average speed here. Not peak pace.

Yea righ but when on song they can hurl out am entire spell in 150ks though but its like 3 overs and one per series though.
Show me a video of Shoaib Akhtar bowling an entire over above 150kph let alone an entire spell like you are claiming.
Akhtar was a freak of nature but even he hung around at 145-150kph for most of his deliveries with the odd effort bowl in the 152-155kph range.
Heck I'm sure Akhtar has very very few balls in his entire career that were clocked at over 155kph. People always tend to hype up players of yesteryears.
Hasnain may never be as pacy as Akhtar but he is plenty pacy and has all the right ingredients to be an excellent bowler for Pak. I'm excited for him even more than Shaheen (who is a great bowler in the making as well)

It's close to impossible to get another Shoaib Akhtar or a Brett Lee in such a short span of time. They were freaks, and played considerably less cricket in comparison to the players today. I would have backed Lockie Ferguson to touch those heights, but it's impossible to be as consistent as Akhtar or Lee were with the amount of cricket played nowadays.
Pat Cummins is their quickest pacer on average, but he is nowhere near a speed demon. Australia has had massive issues keeping Starc, Hazlewood and Cummins fit. So this player workload management thing is just a bunch of words.Well that depends. The likes of Australia and South Africa are the best when it comes to monitoring and handling the work loads of their super fast bowlers. They rest their key 140-150 km/hr plus pacers from useless ODI's and T-20's and only play them in crucial series or ODI's or in the ICC tournaments at best.
Pakistan on the other hand has been bowling their pacers to the ground inspite of having pace options on the bench. The policy should be to get 50-60 test matches out of a fast bowler throughout his career in total instead of 100 test matches but make sure in each and every game he plays he operates at 140-150 km/hr plus and does not slow down.
Hasnain is 18 Shoaib only became consistently quick from 1999 when he was already 23 LEE also made his debut at 22 how many bowlers in U 19 world cup have you seen bowling bowling Hasnian's pace?
Haven't seen a single pacer whose really 18 and clocking 148 and 150k respectively (Thats include Shoaib , Tait and Lee) (Musa and Hasnain) but the question is whether they are really 18 or not?
From what i saw, Hasnain was clocking between 145-150 in the first couple of games and his pace dropped to 135-145 with the odd ball at 146/147 for the remaining games. Maybe this is due to fitness, injury or accuracy. Guess we will see if he gets a game against Australia if he is bowling the 135-145 or 140-150 range.
