Why are the announcing the team ahead of time? I don't see the SAF team posted anywhere. It just allows the opposition to make a plan and relax. Maybe he doesn't know he doesn't have to announce the team? Maybe he is just saying it and there will be more changes tomorrow to try and confuse SAF? Who knows anymore. Point is, team should not be announced this far ahead of time to the public and media.

That said, obvious choice to bring in Zaman. Harris Sohail must not be fit, which begs the question of why they brought him all the way here. Very strange from team management

One of the worst things we are doing is announcing the XI before the match starts. You know this allows the opposition to choose the perfect XI to play against us as soon as the match starts right?

I highly doubt SA management is sitting waiting to see whether it's Shehzad or Zaman who will play.. it's pretty meaningless overall

If world would run on the basiis on stats, then there were no need of selection committees. Any Tom, Dick or Harry could select Pakistan XI on the basis of EspnCicinfo downloaded datas.

If you see his recent performance against Australia, particularly his spells vs Warner, you would know how improved player Junaid is.
I believe a player can win a match with just 1 or 2 wickets,specially if those wickets are of Warner's,Kohli's etc. Junaid Khan did this vs Australia.

Yes I also agree Junaid khan is inconsistent. It will be interesting to see if he has worked on his consistency or not.

Computers will do a better job than our selectors.
