Guys
This is a humble request, can we please stop criticizing our team for every single time they lose and then make them world champions (for which they are as actually won the last ICC trophy) every time they win a single match.
This team is still young and has potential, its almost the same set of players that won us the ICC champions trophy and its the same coach that has definitely improved us and has given us bunch of players to build a team around and has kicked the likes of shehzads n akmals out of the team

Why do we need to be so childish every time our team loses a game, its sports, one or the other team is bound to lose. If you cant support them when they lose then don't join the bandwagon if they end up winning the asia cup or In Shaa ALLAH the world cup next year

Stop this nonsense and negativity and lets support our nation,
PS its not any emotional thread, its just a plea from one humble passionate fan who feels he's always let down by the impulsive and immature behavior of his own set of people

Actually most of us are still backing the side and are just a bit disappointed by the meek surrender in the last two matches. It's only a few who can't contain their glee since these defeats bring joy to their otherwise meaningless existence.

Support our nation.. is this some dam fund campaign? I waste a lot of time watching and following this sport and you want me to bear this pathetic performances against arch rivals? We almost lost to Afghans too.

We have been hearing this excuse of young and inexperienced team for last three years. Enough is enough. This is professional sport and they are playing at the highest level and should be performing against quality sides not just minnow bash the likes of Zimbabwe and Hong Kong.

When we loses, fans behave immaturely and when we win they behave immaturely.

Impulsive reactions are our hallmark.

If we win, they player xy is a legend better than established greats of the game. Any criticism is rejected.

If we lose, it is the end of the world. The player xy is the worst player ever and needs to be dropped ASAP. No kind of leeway is given. Calls for same old TTF become louder.

The biggest ttf is actually captain of our side in all three formats. How ironic!!

When we win, it masks over our problems and weak areas and everyone goes on as if they don't exist. When we lose these weak links get exposed brutally. Why not make the right decision in the first place and get rid of those weak links?

Fans like you is exactly what i'm talking about. So basically teams like india, australia never had a bad patch you think? We just won the last ICC trophy and for once have a settled team
If you cant support your team if theyre losing, fair enough, dont just the bandwagon if theyre winning then, keep your hate and pessism to yourself, its just that one bad fish can spoil the whole sea and if affects fans like us as well

Venting out frustration and celebrating success forms the heart of this forum. Why would you want it to be mundane?

I really dont think changing sides so frequiently is any sort of passion, its utter stupidity on your side as you't even figure out your own thoughts
Its a sign of a glory hunter

Exactly. If we want to become a team that can consistently beat better teams then we should always be ready for making changes and make improvements.

You are correct, we do have a keeping issue. It is either him or another TTF. Can not think of any young upcoming wicket keeper who is also handy with the bat.

I am reluctant to open my heart for Kami bahi because we have gone through this same recycling process many times and the results were never good. Now Kami bahi has turned into Kami chacha, the age isn't on his side.

I am still in favor of giving sarfraz a few more chances since he is carrying the burden of captaincy. We need to look for replacements. I can't make the call if it should be before the WC or after.

Bhai presisting with mediocre players is also stupidity.

To save us from humiliation and embarrassment. To save some self-respect.

Kami is no solution but why not prepare a young or any other keeper as a back up replacement in case of injury or keep Sarfraz in check? The guy has gained so much weight ever since he became unqestionable dictator which clearly shows how much serious he is taking cpataincy of Pakistan which is not easy thing to handle.

Yeah lets replace him and bring back Kamran Akmal... that should shut up "fans" like you

Yeah I don't know what's up with that. All the talent-hunters on PP who look out for good upcoming prospect should provide a list of upcoming wicket keeping batsman.

The only one I can think of is M. Rizwan but his batting against spin was horrendous. Let's hope he has improved and can show it of in the PSL.

bhai its the same set of players who we considered as legends, now theyve become so useless all of sudden?
Fakhar been found out? For God sake, he just scored a 200 couple of months back, some people are just too annoying

I agree. Our players need to be backed. This is a young team that is currently experiencing a confidence crisis. Every team goes through such situations and every team experiences failures. And above all, the team and the management know what what the players need to do to win. So to begin criticizing and putting every little thing under the microscope is unnecessary and won't accomplish anything. Have some belief in our players and if you don't have that maybe try to show some patience. No one becomes a match-winner overnight. Either support the side through thick and thin or don't support them at all. Already too many self-hating Pakistani supporters out there.

We need to somehow sell out the stadium with Pak fans over Indians. That might actually help for once. All of these contests consist heavily of Indian supporters in the crowd

Thank you, Exactly!!
I dont know how and from where but there are too many armchair experts out there, who for some reason always hate every small thing about the team. Need more positivity!

I will always support the team as long as we are moving forward. For me moving forward means discarding non-performing 30+ yo old youngstar beauties and giving chances to youngsters who merit it. When trying out a youngster it is important to be patience and give them a fair chance.

The team failed in the Asia Cup I am not that bothered. Those who were flying high after the CT win have just experienced a crash and that's what's causing the depressed mood.

My biggest worry is whether we will take the right conclusions going forward. There is a very big question mark on our bowling attack especially in the UAE. A very big question mark on Amir, Sarfraz, Harris and Nawaz. We need to look for better spin option. Shadab alone isn't enough. Our opening pair isn't settled yet either.

The biggest positive so far has been Mr Malik. I always have my dairy out to assess the performance of "experienced" seniors and in this tournament Malik fulfilled his role better than never before.

The team is just lacking its mojo.... I don't see the boys running about high-fiving each other cracking jokes like they used to. They seem to be playing under a lot of stress. A couple of defeats can do that to you.

Mickey and Sarfaraz need to stress on them to enjoy the game and play like they were doing for the last year and a half.

I am behind the team but I'm sorry when we aren't performing and losing games I will offer my opinion as harsh as it is. No fan should be afraid to critizce the team.

I will always support Pakistan but I'm glad I was in Miami last week. Absolute shambles and the negativity is warranted because the vast majority on here seemed to think this is a strong ODI team because of wins against the likes of WI and SL.

Some posters on here were so confident Pakistan would beat India and win this Asia Cup, well truth is Sarfraz has lost the plot tactically, his selections and his batting was past it a long time ago.

Other teams are out there to play too. Afghanistan is a dangerous side if they can get to 250. If you cant stand behind your team when things don't go well then don't be part of their success too.

TBH I am not too bothered by the losses, yeah they were bad but we are still in the tournament. If Pakistan wins the next two matches then this would have a successful tournament. After the tournament, most don't remember what happened in the group stages or even who the runners ups were, only the winning team is remembered.

Firmly behind the boys, and hoping for them to turn this around and light up that unpredictable/mercurial tag again. I really hope we see the aggressive Pakistan out there tomorrow, as that is what this tournament has been missing so far.
