After being knocked out in the quarters it's only pride to play for now.

Good luck young boys. Match is starting in about 1 hour and 20 minutes.
 
Does this count as a tournament game and will the stats of players be added to their tournament runs?
 
Unfortunately it isn't being shown on Sky Sports, but I'm sure the host broadcaster will be covering the game so we could find a stream...

I am more angry at the decision of batting first against India!

Had we bowled first we could have dismissed them for under 100 runs!

Just to clarify on today's game. The winner will play England for the 5th spot while the loser plays Bangladesh for 7th spot.

So either way Pakistan U-19s have one more game to play on Friday.

Hmm, thanks for that Genghis. So suppose we lose today and then lose to Bangladesh on Friday as well, we come 8th and don't play anymore games right?

Anyways, gotta say that MashaAllah Babar has been in tereffic form this WC. Add his bowling abilities, and he has a very good future for Pakistan. A way better version of Hafeez. Long may it continue. :)
 
I think Babar needs to bowl more overs. Who knows, maybe he is a better bowler then Hafeez as well. After all, he does know how to ball the Doosra. :ajmal

BTW Babar and Waheed making good progress, both hit a boundary each just now. Good stuff. :)

Another half century partnership between Babar Azam and Umar Waheed, but again Waheed went soon after. Hopefully we don't see another middle order collapse.

Faraz Ali playing his first game of the World Cup is in. Let's see what he's got.
 
Babar should be given a shot for Pakistan in ODIs when Pakistan go to Zimbabwe later this year, but I'm pretty sure our selectors won't allow that to happen.

Anyways, Babar and Waheed were playing some good cricket, sad to see Waheed out. Now let's hope Babar, new boy Faraz, and Nawaz can guide us home. We also have Afridi and Qadir ho are capable of batting, but let's hope it doesn't come to that.

1 more wicket and it could go either way.

This is not a good batting display from the boys bar Waheed and Babar. Afridi, Nawaz have huge roles to play here. Qadir will also be very crucial.
