No he should not have. No need to support any player blindly.

Looked terribly out of sorts in the PSL and needs some time at the lower level to get things running. Recently scored tons in grade 2 cricket which was great to see, and now he needs to score in the emerging cup as well as the pentangular cup, after which he can hopefully make a comeback into the side from the SL tour onwards.

I am a huge fan of Haris's as well by the way.

It's good for him - 5 matches against good but inexperienced sides to prove his fitness & form. Being VC, he should play every match, preferably at 4 & bowl good number of overs, which can land him to CT 2017. Baby sitting is one of the toughest job, if you can't handle the baby.

He should have been in WI, but had he been injured again, that would have been end of it. Now, he has few more weeks & absolutely demolish some inexperienced bowling units.

I knew there'll be few senior players picked - players that are just on edge for National selection; because as host BCB would like to make the final at least. Mashrafee played the preparation matches as Captain of one of the 2 sides & he has his input in this team.

Age isn't a big issue here because, most of the ages are under stated officially. I think, there are 4 senior cricketers in the squad who are in close contention of CT2017, but missed the cut for SRL tour - Momin, Nasir, Miraj & Shanto (Nazmul) - these are actually senior cricketers.

In this team, just only player that's missing to my liking is Ebadat, a right arm pacer. This team has one exceptional talent - Afif.
