Anyone can open and get off to a flier. Only the real batsmen play in the middle and take charge. Rizwan bottled the challange in the middle and is making soft runs as an opener, whilst Pakistan continues to suffer because him and Babar are too scared to bat in the middle!

He would survive for 8-10 balls and that would have been enough for him to make the difference.

Yes, he didn't come off regularly, but that was the case for almost every big hitter. He would never waste 20 balls to score 25 runs.

His batting was just a bonus to his bowling where he was very economical and would rarely go for runs.

I would agree, if we had 4 or 5 capable batsmen in our line up/waiting in the wings. Unfortunately at present if one of the openers goes , we are straight into the tail. Fakhar is the only one you could justify moving up, the rest are useless i am afraid.

Pakistan needs to induct proper Test match players in their T20 lineup like Kamran Ghulam and Abdullah Shafique. And develop their hitting ability over time.

These Asif ali's, Khushdil's, Iftikhars, Haider Alis are pure hacks. They have no technique, hence their hitting ability is also compromised.
