Pakistan v England | 5th T20I | GSL | 28 September 2022 |Pakistan innings

Seen two pathetic batting display today, SA on a greentop and Pakistan sorry batting against the pace of wood and patented brainfade as 2nd one goes with a very ugly run out lol
 
Nawaz and Shadab threw their wicketd away. Terrible.
 
Will we be able to play out 20 overs? Can't believe we have fans advocating for an all out boom boom approach when we struggle to play out the overs
 
Some fans are really confused... If babar and rizwan gives good start then they complaint about run rate... Now if they out when try to play aggressive and then the middle order exposed badly they start complaining about this... ��
 
That was really bad, casual running and never a 2 there

Shadab hesitsted twice, once for the first run and then for the second... Would have made it otherwise

Exactly the reason we can't play like those fans advocate. We don't have the facilities.

Yeah. Bat at snail pace first 10 overs especially 6 overs of powerplay and then expect others to hit sixes from every ball. This strategy is outdated. Even associate nations play full attacking throughout their innings and they expect every batter to punish every bad ball for boundary.

This is why I strongly dislike Misbah and his methodology of cricket. He has inspired so many people with his selfish and defensive approach that now it has become normal to bat like that.
 
Middle order can't even complain this time they didn't get enough overs... Same story as always...
 
These guys lack basics of cricket,

poor fielding , poor catching, poor calling for catches, poor running between wickets,

every time dive hard to finish the 2nd run (especially foolish Rizwan),
Cant play the short ball, cant play against Spin being a sub-continent batsmen..

In summary , comedy of errors..
 
Also Rizwan lack of attacking shot means he is always desperate for singles or twos even when there is not. Which creates opportunities for run outs which we have seen tonight.

*** stop peddling this nonsense. Kohli was so fit. It used to take a Dhoni to take quicks 2s with him . Even Rahane couldn't keep up with him or Pujara. Blame the fitness of the other guys. Stupid take

Doesn't matter if its "outdated" if, after 20 overs you can post a total of 160+. It works more times than it doesn't for Pakistan so they should stick to it. I'd much rather they play slow and build up to 160 plus rather than go gung ho and collapse for 130.

Statpadding is all about Pak cricket these days. Sick of selfish and defensive approach. Gives no hope for future. Which direction are we heading? Tournaments are not won by stats but ability to outbat and outbowl oppositions.

Typical statpadding innings. When you don't take any risk whatsoever you are bound to score runs. Others play for team not their stats.

It's been exposed since the 90s to be fair. Everytime we go to Australia and England it gets found out......just a new low that we can't handle it on slow pitches in Pakistan.
