Alam to bat at number 8 I believe!! Far too low for him to have any major impact! I'd much rather have him coming up the order ahead of Azhar "overrated" Ali.

Anyone ....what are the odds for this one?

Breaking news

Salman Butt, Mohammad Asif and Mohammad Amir dropped for rest of tour
Salman Butt, Mohammad Asif and Mohammad Amir, the three Pakistan players who are at the centre of the spot-fixing controversy have been dropped for the limited-overs leg of the England tour, according to team manager Yawar Saeed. He said they had not, however, been suspended.

The three players are currently in London, where they are due to meet Pakistan's high commissioner to the UK. The PCB chairman, Ijaz Butt, is expected to be at that meeting.

Speaking in Taunton, where the Pakistan team are to play a warm-up match later on Thursday, Saeed said he had taken the decision, and also called for three replacements "The T20 squad will remain what it is here this morning, i.e. 13 people," Saeed said. "When we play the one-day internationals we will be asking for replacements to make the squad up to 16.".

The decision comes after several rounds of meetings between Ijaz Butt, ICC chief executive Haroon Lorgat and officials of the ECB, at which the PCB is believed to have been advised that the players should not take part in the rest of the tour.

commentators are acting abit weird, its like they dont care about whats going on

oh cmon this isnt fixed. they don't do bets for tour matches do they?

cricinfo says it is an ODI. nice :)

how is azhar ali overrated? he made a fifty and unbeaten 92. good start for a youngster. cant expect him to go crazy in debut. Insha Allah he will provide us a stable middle order in the future

any radio link guys?

Seems a 50 over game..sorry lads...can a mod change the title of this thread!!

Azhar Ali is the most overrated batsmen I have seen in a long time!!! Him and Hafeez have no place in the team at all!!!

come on!!! not now!!

well thats the thing mate...with 3 cream of crop out of the team half of the rest of the team is utter crap and if they aren't fixing then they are atleast fixing their spot in the team for sure...how does hafeez make it into the national team?

Hameed hit a hundred in each innings of his debut and has done absolutely nothing since then.
Nazir after an explosive start was found out quick time which is why he averages a ***** 25 in nearly 80 ODIS.
Farhat after a few good early knocks has become arguably the worst opener in international test cricket...and the list goes on!
