Looks like easy victory so far, keep it up.
 
Mclaren hasn't even bowled yet. He was the best SA bowler in the recent Pak tour
 
The only reason why I'm not distraught with anger about the poor rotation of strike (yet again!) is the fact that SA could barely do it as well until the last 10 overs.
 
Sir drinking water surely means now he is going to do something special...
 
imran farhat a mean crickter.. a selfish cricketer who never plays for his team..look at his strike rate remember he scored his first 18 runs in 14 balls and the next 04 runs in 27 balls ????

just hope they keep on this form throughout the tourney! always said that Pak would be invincible once they become consistent.
 
I know this is off the topic but if Ahmed Shehzad was here we would be watching something more special thn we saw from him in the T20 against SA

I'm sure you didn't watch the first innings. our pacers were swinging and seaming the ball like no tomorrow.

would've been great, but our selectors are total :facepalm:
 
As it's a practice match, if Pakistan chases down the total can they ask the Saffers to complete the fifty overs for some batting practice :butt
 
off topic, I think players should be elected by the 'awaam' just like the government is, that would be a true representation of the country! :yk

Most important thing guys get practice. I think also a win in the warm up will give the players more confidence and would be better (when you let the opposition post 300, you'll likely lose regardless of how good your batting side is).

We just need to see if the guys have the ability/able to play quick. Hafeez was going at a SR of 70 now 82, which is encouraging. Jamshed was looking good until the run out.

Bit concerned Farhat's dropped anchor and again scoring very slowly yet again even after 40 balls. SR of 59 ain't good enough, even here. Hopefully he won't do that in the real match or when we need to score quickly.

Our hopes of chasing scores like 300 as always kind of rely on one man, Jamshed.
 
Now the people who dont want to see Pakistan batting going good will complain with the argument that this was another flat pitch just like SC they need to watch the first innings to realize what kind of pitch this is

Good that the batsmen are only taking 4 runs from Berhardien. It means he will bowl again so catch up later.

They only need to take 4 runs, that's above the asking rate.

These two should try and stick ahead of the run rate each over, making req run rate fall lower and lower. So much easier chasing when you're ahead of the run rate rather than needing to accelerate at the end. Plus if you get out, time for new batsmen to settle in and play himself in.
 
Pakistan are batting according to the situation but the verdict is still out as we have to see how they perform when they have to score over 5 runs per over.
