I have a feeling we'll drop our guard now with series won and lose this one. Hoping for a clean sweep though, think we've never done one before or is that for sth else?
Nah I think we'll win it 5-0. These guys seem a lot more ruthless than in the past. Particularly the bowlers, there's so many bowling options they have to make sure to try and do damage early to put in a contribution (as they don't know they'll get full 10 overs or not).
And too many batsmen who are either new (like Imam) who's eager to establish himself in the side (even after the hundred, he'll want to make it look like he can do well on a consistent basis). Guys who haven't had a chance much to perform/haven't performed that much yet. Only guy maybe who has nothing to prove is Babar, but even him, he probably wants to get in as many runs as he can given his horror test showing.
In the past we've been more reliant on individual winning performances, i.e. clutch on their day. These days, a lot of our guys are very consistent. Which is good, it makes for a stronger side, even though doubt many of them could pull out a win from nothing like for example Razzaq's hundred against SA. Might be less flashy, but is generally better long term. Even CT, everyone did well except for Malik and Shehzad (the latter dropped), was a whole team performance and no one really let up.
