Ok so less that 100 to get after the break, although I would much rather there was no break so the batsmen can keep their concentration going!

if u r strugglin to beat a crap side like west indies c side...can u beat india?

much less win the tournament?

Did you even watch the T20 World Cup?
We lost to england but beat South Africa and sri lanka so after we are done beating up West Indies we will move to real opponents and beat them as well.

Ok, but we lost all the warm-up matches vs Sri Lanka and guess what happenend. :13:

With this awful run rate, we can't qualify for semis unless we are one of the top two group A teams based on # of wins. The equation has become slightly tougher...

Very impressive stuff from the West Indies, I mean they were so hopelessly lost earlier on but they have redeemed some pride, even given themselves a real chance of victory.

Pakistan bowled pretty well and have lost the traditional 2 early wickets. This is a typical J'burg track where it has always been tough under lights. And as the lights begin to take effect, the remainder of the chase may not be easy.

Sri Lanka series.......we lost ODI warm-up and the ODI series. We only won the matches when batting first as that stadium played completely differently with the lights

lets just win the game whatever way.

Atleast we can say we beat the third rate windies team. :))

YK is effectively opening most of the time anyway so he should open or otherwise drop misbah.

Didnt SA chase 400 odd under lights in Jo'burg? This has nothing to do with lights its just the fact that its a bit of a spicy pitch, probably due to the fact that its quite early season in SA.

Whats up with Aamir's picture on cricinfo frontpage. Are they trying to make him look retarded.

That was an exceptional match on an exceptional pitch. Ordinarily this is a tough ground for visitors, which is why it is called the "Bullring".

Its called the bullring more because of the intimidating atmosphere that can be created by a partisan home crowd rather than the nature of the pitch. Im not sure how things were through the 90s...I do remember Waqar Younis getting a bucketfull of wickets...but certainly since the turn of the decade they have consistently produced batsman friendly wickets.

Another example is the world cup 2003 final when Australia amassed more than 350...

I should add this is only ODIs im talking about not test matches.

Mashallah! i got awesome free stream...nazar na lagey ;) btw..didnt Bangladesh clean sweep WI few months ago... ? i understand the rule is to let top 8 team play CT..but is this W.I recent team better than Bangladesh ? Yeah i know all the star boycotting..but wth..how bout some exception then ?

lets see if pakistan take the batting powerplay between 16-20 overs as they should place your bets :)

i wish someone gets out and afridi comes in to take the power play

9 off that over, thatll help to settle the nerves a bit, still a fair way to go.

pakistan batsmen taking their time... are they aware of thr net run rate thing ???

if india pak and aus each end up winning 2 games nrr will come in handy...

lucky for us we play windies last so we nkow exctly whats to be done :D

Best to Mohammad Yousuf, FOUR, attempted short ball, doesn't rise enough, Yousuf pulls it towards deep backward square leg, that was a controlled shot, one-bounce before crossing the rope
:moyo :moyo

Wow big hit, would love to see it in the highlights! Still surprised that on the cricinfo commentary they say it sailed out of the ground. I expected it to be a little bigger!

Nonetheless, Pakistan doing well here after the usual sitting ducks were shot down. Can't say about Nazir but I expected better from Akmal. Nazir seems like he will be the one to face the chop to make way for YK! (especially after his shoddy fielding)

Beautifully driven for 4 by Yousuf!

So Pakistan have scored 19 runs in 3 overs after the break

81 more to get!
