Pakistan wicketkeeper Sarfraz Ahmed has completed 100 dismissals in Test cricket. He got to this milestone when he held the catch of David Warner for 113 off Wahab Riaz’s bowling. He is now the sixth Pakistan wicketkeeper to have 100 dismissals to his credit. Sarfraz, playing his 33rd Test has 17 stumpings and 83 catches so far. Wasim Bari leads the way for Pakistan with 228 dismissals. However, the world record for most number of dismissals goes to former South African wicketkeeper Mark Boucher, who inflicted 555 dismissals in 147 Tests. In the ongoing series against Australia, Sarfraz has taken six catches so far but no stumpings.

The other five wicketkeepers, who have more dismissals in Tests are Kamran Akmal (206), Moin Khan (147), Rashid Latif (130), Saleem Yousuf (104) and Bari (228). Day One of the third and final Test between Australia and Pakistan has belonged to Warner, who became only the fifth player to smash a hundred in the first session of the first day’s play. He is also the fourth Australian to achieve this feat. Australia have already taken an unassailable 2-0 lead in the series and Pakistan, who have lost five Tests in a row now, are playing only for pride.

It was Steven Smith-led Australia, who had won the toss earlier and decided to bat first. Both teams have a couple of changes to their sides. Australia have roped in Steve O’Keefe and debutant Hilton Cartwright in place of Jaskcon Bird and Nic Maddinson respectively. Pakistan on the hand have handed out a Test debut to Sharjeel Khan in place of Sami Aslam. They have also roped in Imran Khan in place of Sohail Khan.

That is an achievement for Sarf; hopefully he will get better

Good achievement but he's struggled a bit in this match. Couple of missed stumpings which is really not on, specially on such a pitch.

Still the best option we have but he need to improve his keeping.

Best keeper-batsman in the world. Hopefully he keeps improving.
