After seeing what happened to Pakistan against Sri Lanka... what do you think would happen against Bangladesh in a 3 match series?

Depends on where it happens. Also it depends how they play Shakib. No matter how you slice it or dice BD is still a one innings team. They more often than not falter in the 2nd innings. SL was also a one innings team. But they managed to offset their 2nd innings debacle with decent first innings.

I think PCB should invite BCB to play test series in UAE.. good chance for Pakistan players to improve their averages and Pakistan team to improve their ranking points against weak Bangladeshi team.

You can improve your ranking points by doing well against stronger teams. Improving points against lower ranked opposition is difficult. One loses points against them if you fail to whitewash them. A drawn series means that the higher ranked team loses points whereas the lower ranked team gains points.

I don't think that BD will compete unless it's a rank turner. Bowling is toothless on nromal wickets and batting plays in ODI mode. Batting playing in ODI mode is fine on rank turners and bowlers also become effective.

On rank turners, I think it will be 50-50.

Its not like we got thrashed by Sri Lanka, both times we were pretty close, so I don't think we'd lose to Bangladesh. Had we won both the tosses and I think we would've won, in UAE, whoever bat's first, wins most of the time.

Plus we just have to get out combination right which I think we'd do if we had anoyjer match to play.

i dont think that dull UAE ptches with suit bangladeshi bats.though expexting MEHDI and SHAKIB to rip through our top order...but again BANGLADESH will collapse somewhere and will give us chance to win one or even two but expecting a close fought series withkey moment won by pak..my prediction.may be i still underrate bangladesh but i think they lack the temperment required here in UAE or i will say patience.

Bangladesh spinners can be tough to handle and so are Pakistani spinners. Batting is almost similar class for both. So eventually it will be spinners who decide who wins unless there is some fast bowler who puts in an extraordinary spell out of blue
