that's why i will always prefer Butt...
Farhat is in red hot form...yet his mode of dismissal remain consistent..he pulls every short ball or edges a wide. Teams will consistently bowl a fixed line once they know his weakness....Australia did the same during the Aus tour.

ARE openers - you take away Akmal from the middle order and you take away stability....

i agree but the problem is the balance of team will be disturbed..

you will have to drop YKhan since you want 3 all-rounders in the team: Razaq, Afridi and Malik.

But then, I suggest, one of Razzaq, Afridi or Malik be dropped ! Our problem is batting and not bowling. We have 2 many bowling options but problem is they are wasted as the batsman are unable to put on decent scores, due to weak opening partnerships
 
wonder when farhats going to learn showing the last game replays.....if you cant execute that shot well then dont play it........i dont play the sweep shot well i leave it....its as simple as..........cav too coach pakistan :D

never seen him pull with ease against top sides........he can pull all the domestic level bowlers.....as waqar mentioned as well...but internation cricket is a different ball game.....
