Smith in tests is leagues > Lara, Sobers and Sachin.

His avg is higher and his country by country record against top teams is better this too in a bowling era and the fact that he hasnt faced many minnows.

Sachin avg falls to 51 if you remove his horrific stat pads vs Bangladesh and Zimbabwe.

Regardless thats besides the point, Steve Smith is an outlier. Outliers will always exist in cricket.
