Neither is Musa Khan, and yet he’s there too.

It seems that if you are a Misbah Pet you get to tag along even when he pretends to have dropped you.

We should keep our eyes and ears open for Mohammad Hafeez, Zulfiqar Babar and Sohail Khan too. He’s probably got them hidden there too.

If you heard Misbah's press conference he mentioned about Musa Khan who will remain with the squad to train and work under Waqar Younis. But he will not be part of the squad. Just to groom a potential future.

Apart from Sohail Khan, the other two players you mentioned will never play Test Cricket again.

Never understand the Pakistani's hype for the Sri lankan team. Sure maybe when Sl made it to like 7 icc tournaments semi-finals in a row or something understandable. But this team has barely done anything.

The same team won in SA which delivered a phainta to you guys 2-0 and beaten India 2-1..beat you guys in UAE 2-0...so this is what they have done.

What’s the logic of having 32 and 34 year old reserve batsmen, one totally uncapped and the other uncapped for a decade?

Surely they will just get even older on the bench.

Wouldn’t it be better to groom younger reserves? Surely Fawad should be competing against Azhar and Shafiq for a place in the starting eleven, not against young reserves.

Dude age is negligible, 32 and 34 isn’t that old. They’ve still got lots of time left, give players their due who deserve it.

They’ll get their shots they won’t be warming the bench for too long now. I reckon second match there will he changes.

So now Misbah isn’t just deadcatting to mislead the public, he has actually lied by claiming to have dropped Musa Khan when he actually hasn’t at all.

Anyway, the only way anybody could groom Musa Khan is by making him a minimum of nine inches taller.

So again, Misbah purported to have learned from his selection mistakes in Australia and to have left out Musa Khan and Iftikhar. As a result of which he suffered less flak for the decision to retain Imran.

But it looks as if these were just lies to mislead the media and the public, and the clowns from Adelaide and Brisbane are still very much at the heart of the squad.

So not so much deadcatting, more just a case of blatant lying by the Chief Selector.

Harris is the most useless one. Not a sportsman by any mean, look at his fitness level. He might score few runs on dead Pakistani wickets but as he growing older, he will not make to it to double figure in any overseas match. Azhar the next worst, but unfortunately, he is the captain.

Absolutely no point of picking Fawad after a decade if he is going to warm the bench. I would go with Shafiq and Fawad. Let Fawad play both games even he fails in the first test. I don't understand this strategy of dropping a player after one bad performance, or making changes every game. Harris should also be in the team and our passenger Captain should be nowhere near this squad.

Well, so TC is back to Pak...feel happy for the cric loving public, so good....
a wonderful chance to show the way for future series....
As a indian fan, wish the series and all the organization logistics all the very best....lets hope for a fantastic series where skills of players will be remembered...
I remember Rawalpindi where we played in 2003, i think its seamer's wicket - i think umar gul got heaps of wickets.....feel this will be 3 quicks, one all rounder one spinner wicket.....and with Rangana herath retired, best chance for pak to win series....good luck and cheers from india...
