What'll Malik prove and PAK earn in bashing "that" WI from 4? If he is to play, PAK should bat him at 9 and give 4 overs in every game - that's the only purpose for him to play (in fact get selected) in this series; to find a replacement of MoHa as an off-spin all-rounder.

PCB/Ul Haq knew which type of WI is coming - 4 days after PSL & 3 days before IPL. They could have easily selected Aga Salman & Farhan for the two - instead, face it now - you might have dropped him from XI but Ahmed is going to start and he'll open; won't be surprised if he hits a hundred, which should carry him to 2020 WC. This WI might not allow Talat & Asif to even bat at 5 & 6 (or bat for 6/7 balls) - another perfect excuse for future.

As per current info Ahmed Shehzad will be dropped from the 11 due to poor form shown in the practice nets. An excellent opportunity for Hussain Talat to establish as one down batsman and for Asif Ali as 6th number specialist. We are forming an excellent squad for the 2019 world cup.

Sarfaraz should either open or bat at number 4. Open becoz we don't have a 2nd specialist opener. At 4 he gives the real impetus to the innings. His best performances in limited overs came in England where he batted at 4. Rest he is a waste of spot in the team.
