First of All I would like to Thanks The Almighty Allah and the personal staff members who are involved in bringing the much needed cricket back to Pakistan after 8-9 years of deprived cricket in Pakistan because of attack on Srilanka Team! Can you please inform me who is going to be showing these matches in USA, is Willow TV is going to show them live? If anyone can confirm and find out for me I would greatly appreciate it. Thank You

Not perfectly sure, but as per one website, Willow TV will broadcast it Live in USA and Canada.

Can anyone please confirm to me if this match would be telecasted in India . I really need to see some pakistani cricket.

I really hope PTV camera's of the 1970's aren't used for these matches. Honestly, the PTV coverage is a disgrace. No HD cameras, no good quality, no speed guns, nothing. Hope it isn't the case this time.

Pakistani broadcasting on a whole is really poor. It's wierd to think how PCB spend so much on these matches but can't afford world class broadcast

Is willow tv in USA is definitely going to cover this broadcast or no one is 100% certain just as yet? Please let me know. Thanks

I doubt Willow will show in USA but if they do that will be awesome! I hope they are able to bring in good sponsorships

With Cricket being played in Pak after many years Sky may cover it in the UK.

When exactly are we going to find out which country broadcasts on which tv channels, anyone know with confirmed updates on this will be greatly appreciated. I'm really excited about this tour to begin and In Sha Allah everything will go without any incident and this will pave ways for return of international cricket in Pakistan

I really hope it does. Im tempted to email them if they would telecast these matches in India . Don't have ptv sports here .

Sony Ten Sports might broadcast matches in India... They always broadcast Pakistani home matches in India, except the PSL.

Najam Sethi said broadcasting rights will be sold in next 15 days.... So acc to him 12 days remaining

No chance. Sky don't care about the fact cricket is being played in Pakistan otherwise they would have shown Pakistan vs Zimbabwe too. I don't think it is being shown in the UK at all.

Unless PTV decides to broadcast it on Global here in the UK. They did that last year as well with the national T20 cup which was shown on PTV Sports in Pakistan.

Any confirmation on that Brother? Im hoping to see some matches in Lahore , ofcourse via television. It's been ages since I saw a Pakistani stadium lit up with spectators and Pakistani players being cheered upon !

New Delhi, Aug 31 - DSPORT, a premium sports TV channel launched by Discovery Communications India, has acquired the exclusive broadcast rights of the upcoming ICC World XI tour of Pakistan, it was announced on Thursday.

The International Cricket Council (ICC) World XI will play three day and night Twenty20 matches with reigning Champions Trophy winners Pakistan at Lahore's Gaddafi stadium on September 12, 13 and 15.

The World XI led by South African captain Faf du Plessis comprises players from seven Test playing countries. Former Zimbabwe star player Andy Flower has been named the manager of the team.

Speaking on the occasion, Karan Bajaj, Sr. Vice President and General Manager, South Asia, Discovery Communications India, said: "This is the first cricket property acquired by DSPORT and is indicative of our appetite to offer world class action across categories for the sports fans in India."

"This unique series, with some of the world's best players taking on the might of Pakistan, is sure to capture the attention of die-hard cricket fans in India," he added.

Don't know much about them but hoping for HD cameras and excellent coverage.

If it's at the level of Star sports/sky sports then it would be awesome

The production company is going to be IPG.Don't have much knowledge about them so anyone here can help?

Well Pakistan home match rights are with Ten Sports which use to be own by the Essl Group (Zee) and so Zee CInema use to show these. However, they have sold Ten Sports to Sony Entertainment who are showing Sri Lanka v India (which was previously on Zee). Going by that logic I think in the UK it is likely to be Sony TV Asia.

If the usual rights don't count for this series then if Discovery have indeed purchased the rights for this series only then their UK sport channel is Eurosport.

Let's wait and see.

When are we going to upgrade our broadcast infrastructure? Surely we have funds for this rather than foreign companies.

^^ when we have overall professional broadcasting with a proper regulator like Ofcom in the UK so things like stupid water marks on news channels and sensationalising the news stops. Maybe our sports broadcasting will improve to.

I am curious to know how this broadcasting works and how can Pakistan start from ground zero? What is the role of Ofcom in regulating and how does it work in UK?

Anyone forcing you?

To be fair, being sarcastic about embarrassing coverage or being disappointed by having it as the only option isn't really complaining about being forced. It's a shocking lack of choice that's surprisingly still around in this day and age.

Middle East should be the usual TenSports guys but lets see

Could mods please mention me in a post which informs PP about the broadcast in the UK?

We should show full might of our Security setup for the Rest of the Cricketing World to see .... this would surely encourage other Teams to visit us !!!!!!!!

Any update on match timings? I mean the dates aren't all that great for myself all in the weekdays! :( guess I'm going to watch the highlight for each match.

Asian channels are better thsn eurosport. Zee cinema etc. Not ary or prime though

I am just getting the feeling that this time around PSL might be shown in India and DSports might be the broadcaster. There is actually some interest in India to watch PSL as was evident last year when the most no.of people watching on livestreaming were from India. So I am getting a feeling that they might cash in and also the fact that they can get the broadcasting rights at a very cheap price because there aren't many broadcasters in India who are going after PSL.
