What is Dsports.

Dont think we have any channel in India with that name.
 
Such a shame Virgin doesn't have Prime TV. Missed out on PSL and now missing out on this

Even I had never heard about it. It is a sports channel few Indians are aware of. and it is likely to remain that way.

Dsports just like NeoSports will die out in no time. Most Indians only know of Star sports due to it being official broadcaster for ICC/Indian games and now IPL. Apart from cricket, it also broadcast various leagues that are ever growing in India. Dsports will not survive more than 5 years if its only gonna broadcast netural games in India and/or PSL.

Coming to Pakistan v World XI, not sure if its gonna garner huge interest in India as it will coincide with India v Australia series( most Indians love watching these two teams play).

Goodluck to PCB and team, hopefully the series goes ahead without any off field trouble.
 
Indeed no one in India now remembers Neo Sports. Same fate will befall Dsports seeing that they do not own any India specific rights. And India cricket or Indian sports specific rights do not come cheaply, as we have seen.

Dont think Dsports have such deep pockets like Star network. Upcoming Indian home games rights up for renewal and if rumuors to go by, Sony Tv is likely going to break records to get something after losing IPl rights. Dsports will most probably stay away from it as it doesnt have that amount of cash at their disposal.

Dsports should target ISL, Kabaddi league. Ipl/Indian games are just out of their reach.
 
Who is broadcasting in the gulf region? What is this YuppTV, I have never heard of this.

I think Premier Kabaddi League has become the second most watched sporting event in India after IPL. Its right is owned by Star sports. I do not think Dsports will get PKL rights anytime soon.

Like i said, us Indians are gradually heading towards club/franchise era where young kids growing up in urban areas are more interested in city rivalries. My neice and nephews are die hard Mumbai Indian fans than Indian cricket fan. Star sports will do its best to retain the rights of such leagues as it has potential to grow into big events in a calendar.

Dsports will have to break the bank to get hold of one such league to stay in business or else like i mentioned they will die out in no time if they intend to survive based on non Indian related games.
 
Where's sky broadcasting when you need it most. I want to see my watan in full HD not this BTEC prime TV broadcast 😕

World XI Game Televised in UAE?

Hello, does anyone know on which channel my dad can watch the World XI game on TV in the UAE?

For the perceptive ones among you, you may know I already asked about the UK, because I am here, but fam are there, in case you were wondering :)
