These two need to finish this game, from here, really nothing is left in it. Only 1's and 2's.
 
Mixed feelings, as I want to see hammad bat, but on the other hand I also want harris and malik to develop the habit of finish off games.

Misbah had lots of flaws but he was far better than the other 10 guys he batted with. Fact.

Judge this lot against a proper team.. I back myself to score runs against Sean Williams and chibabha.

yes you are right. Our loss had nothing to do with playing a new team. It was all down to not having that Noble legend who is the best captain pak has ever had and is also so unselfish unllike Imran Khan who selfishly batted at number 3 in a high pressure WC final.

Yes let's forgive all his flaws, but have a different standard for all other pak players.
 
Malik and haris sohail has a very good understanding and chemistry going between them when they both bat together. They done it like hundred times in the past for stallions. And now doing it for pak. Selectors are the one to blame for not identifying this very early. Dumb selectors as usual.
 
Malik will enjoy his dream ride in Asia and thats quite a lot of cricket pakistan will play in asia in the next few months. Outside asia he will become a tailender.

Zimbabwe's batting is decent but their failure to produce some quality bowlers is stopping them from climbing up the rankings.

Funny how he didn't want to play in Australia because he's not enjoying his cricket. LOL..

Reminds me of the kid in your street who would always want a try ball and would refuse to play if he didn't get one

Don't know why people can't understand this.

Either we can celebrate mediocrity bashing the minnows, or have a long-term strategic thinking.

Malik showing that class is class. Some people cannot score a century in their whole ODI careers, others do it just after they come back in the team, Malik, Fawad etc.
 
Our batting is fine(bar Shafiq & Hafeez)

Rather focus on the likes of Anwar Ali and Sami opening our bowling

You only showed up here after Misbah was brought up, and all your posts are in some way a dig at him. Strange. Bit obsessive.
 
Haris has ONLY played 22 ODI's, yet he has played probably 10 knocks better then Shafiqs best.

Averages 3 in New Zealand, failure in Eng and Aus as well. A fluke average in one country doesn't matter much.

Hafeez also has tons in New Zealand.

Both are mediocre outside Asia, but Hafeez is a better and free-flowing batsman with loads of strokes when on song.

Who is picking and choosing?

Malik averages 3 in NZ, 8 in England. :))) Not even in double figures!

Hafeez nowhere averages that low. Almost 40 avg in NZ, double figures in other places.

Now, don't pick and choose.
 
Haris has the right idea, brings up his 50 with a bash through cover.
