New Delhi: Six people, including three women, were found raising 'Pakistan zindabad' slogan near the Khan Market metro station in Delhi on Saturday night, police said on Sunday.

The police came to know about the incident after receiving a PCR call at around 1 am at Tughlaq Road police station.

“A PCR call about six people sloganeering 'Pakistan zindabad' (long live Pakistan) near the Khan Market metro station received last night,” the police said.

A police team reached the spot and found three women, two men and a teenager were present there on blue-coloured Yulu bikes.

According to the police, they were racing on the rented bikes and had been calling each other by the names of the countries, including Pakistan.

“It was found that during racing on rental bikes, they kept each other's names based on countries including Pakistan. The slogan was raised in a lighter vein,” ANI quoted police as saying.

The six people are being interrogated and a probe is underway, the police said.

Well, for the sake of sanity prevailed I hope India won the race. But it was a bad joke under these trying times in India. But nice title anyway for a few seconds I got excited by the fact that Pakistanis had already raised Pakistan's flag in India in the name of ghazwa hind.

I fail to see a crime committed? Why were the police called

Good thing everyone is still really happy/elated/distracted with the Aus series win otherwise this could've ended up really bad.

Good to see alert citizens and cops who don't take chances. Anyone who chants Pakistan Zindabad is not necessarily a traitor. Trust, but verify.
