Despite so much hate from the Indians in the last 2 weeks, you would think Pakistan would follow them but life is normal here. Seems like Pakistan is progressing nicely..:babar

Despite what being said by our educated pseudo-liberal Pakistani, Pakistan politics and politician do not need India as a boogeyman to win election.

Indian Politician and paid media is heavily dependent on anti-Pakistan rhetoric.

Somebody posted pics of a mob outside "Karachi bakery" in Bangalore baying for the owners blood, who btw is a Hindu Indian and the bakery was opened by a guy who migrated to India in 1947. Eventually the staff had to cover up the name "Karachi" and placed an Indian flag as well.

Meanwhile Bombay Bakery, Delhi Chaat house and other such establishments are completely peaceful in Pakistan and life is going on as normal. People are more concerned about PSL than India's war hysteria :91:

The plus side is our meme game has gone a level above. The second plus side is that some people who normally are like "why do we have to retaliate at everything, it's not our concern" are now going like why aren't Pakistani authorities and people commenting back.

There's a major silver lining here.

Today I saw a certain Pakistani who loves towing the Indian line on PP actually saying that PCB should respond to BCCI for their garbage behavior.

I was left dumbfounded, lost for words. Suddenly the world makes sense again :yk3

Says everything really. There is really nothing to be gained by whipping your population up into a jingoistic frenzy but I suppose for extremist govts short term votes are more important than long term health of a nation.

I recall there being a Bombay Bakery in Hyderabad. A classmate of mine, who was from Hyderabad and had transferred to our university from Jam Shoro, had his parents bring several cakes from this bakery, which apparently has been run by a Hindu family since well before partition. The cakes had to be hand carried on the flight because they didn't want to risk them being destroyed in the checked luggage. I asked him why all the fuss for those cakes, when our local bakeries served perfectly decent cakes, and he leaned over and whispered, "it is rumored they add wine to them."

We demolished an entire chocolate cake in the hopes of getting drunk in a roundabout manner. Nothing happened. It was a good cake though.

PM of India was involved in killing of thousands of Gujrati Muslims and now using these tactics to win again, on the other hand the PM of Pakistan had spent good part of his life in building free hospitals and building educational institutes, so we are different from them .
