Pakistani nurse beaten up by her own Colleagues in Karachi hospital

If we go by your logic then PCB should've brought back Asif and Butt too, and had singled out Kaneria because he is a minority, no?

Asif and Butt played domestics and correct me if I am wrong but PSL too didnt they?

Kaneria is even banned from coaching etc from what I heard.

Probably because Asif and Butt did their time and were free men.

Kaneria has a life time ban and I guess PCB does not want to associate itself with a 40 years old convicted player at the expense of being on the wrong side of ECB.

Had Kaneria been banned for a limited amount of time, I think the doors would've been open to him just like for others after they served their time.

And then after Kaneria continuously back stabbed his employer (PCB) then perhaps PCB is doing the right thing. Any other employer would do the same IMO.

Did their time? You are talking as if they did society a favor.
Don’t you see a problem on how it sounds?

Am I missing something, has Kaneria done something where he is escaping jail term or out on bail right now?

Anyways I personally think all fixers should be treated the same.

However I do see a problem with a guy from minority being stopped from earning income with his primary skill in a country which is not exactly famous for giving minorities opportunities or having minority influencers while other similar or more serious offenses being let go with a slap
on the wrist or even given red carpet welcomes.

lol ... says the person from India?

Pakistan is a hell hole of a country for minorities and women. This is not my opinion but a fact with data to back it up by the UN. However you can’t blame imran for this totally. This is Pakistan’s problem. He has not helped the cause and he looks foolish pointing fingers at other countries when his own country is one of the worst offenders. It’s time for Pakistan to look within. We are far from it at the moment.

Ok. So these incidents in Pakistan are law and order issue but what happens in India is a government policy? :))

This is the difference. In India the ruling party and Prime Minister routinely make anti Muslim statements, basically inciting Hindus against Muslims. Incitement makes them responsible for violence against Muslims.

In Pakistan the ruling party and Prime Minister dont insult minorities. When they are aware of bad things that happen to minorities they condemn them. They dont give a wink and a nod like BJP does to right wing vigilantes.

Can you show me one official policy change of the Modi government, the Indian constitution or any amendments made to it that impacts minorities of that country ?

The NRC CAA combo. BJP politicans have publically mentioned their strategy. First get the CAA passed, and then go for the NRC, which means only Muslims will have to give proof of citizenship.

The Love Jihad laws. Yes no religion is mentioned in the law, but lets be real who its targeting. Muslim men who marry Hindu women.

I see this with Pakistanis all the time drawing equivalencies to law and order incidents in USA and India or other countries saying look they are biased too?

Sorry my friend it’s not the same thing, pick any minority,in fact even Muslims from anywhere in the world and give him/her the option to move
to either India or Pakistan and wonder what they will pick, rhetorical question. Don’t answer that to me, answer that to yourself.

Yes, religion and religious icons/iconography should not be insulted be it the majority or the minority but don’t think there should be an official constitutional argument to hang them/kill them for such intangible situations.

The first step in fixing a problem is acknowledging it exists

This attack has nothing to do with the blasphemy laws, as this women did not say anything against Islam. Most likely her co workers had a grudge against her and put a false allegation.

These Muslim women need to be arrested and fired from their jobs.

Thats what will solve the problem. Give people who make false accusations of blasphemy a long term in jail.

People fight for all sorts of reasons, hope the nurse is fine.

Your real issue is with Pakistan being an Islamic republic.

You mention India, a nation which elected extremists to power and en mass minorities are targeted by the government along with Hindu extremists. You are also a suppporter of Israel, a nation claimed because it says in their holy book, the most extreme religious entity in the history of the world.

Therefore you have little to no credibilty and it's obvious you just hate Pakistan and Islam. Sadly for you Pakistan isnt going anywhere and neither is Islam.

They filed a false blasphemy case on her. How is that just any regular fight? They were literally beating her up for being Christian and praying for the health of the sick. Did you even watch the video?

I mentioned India because our PM keeps talking about the atrocities the minorities of India have to face which I have never denied as a fact but what I mentioned in my post is that before pointing a finger somewhere else maybe our PM should look to clean his own house. Again, did you even read my post before commenting?

You are commenting without having read anything or without knowing the context of the discussion. This is what you do in most of the other threads as well. I'd suggest at least reading up on what is being discussed before throwing around stupid accusations.

This law will always be used against religious minorities, especially in a country like Pakistan. Your solution (in bold) is as naive as your whole understanding of the issue.

Care to explain how?
as you are the self proclaimed Einstein of blasphemy laws...
or better yet tell me the solution to solve this problem (in the best way possible doesn't have to be perfect) in a country where removing Blasphemy laws are literall and political sucide

If my solution is naive, then what is your solution? Is it to remove the blasphemy laws? If that's your solution, then i think that you are the naive one. There is zero % chance that can happen.
