It's really annoying how they have been unable to build pressure by either getting cut or flicked of the pads . Basically feeding his strength.

He should not be allowed to score at the rate that he has done this series at the very least.

Agreed. If Cook is batting this way then surely the line length bowled by Pak bowlers is pretty wayward.

They are managing wickets at regular intervals but releasing off pressure with this kind of bowling.

No issue if they play well but to keep getting cut and flicked of the pads so often when he clearly looks uncomfortable around offstump is annoying.

Short and wide or on the pads to a person who is really strong there. Brainless bowling

I believe this is the worst display of fast bowling in England in any tour by a Pakistani team.

Time to bring in Imran Khan who can at least keep it tight,

They are just not using their brains.

Asif and Aamir gave him nothing back in 2010.

Makes you wanna pull your hair out. Do they have a game plan our bowlers? Or do they just hope for the best?

Definitely. You know his weakness and you have the skills to bowl to his weakness on a consistent basis and trouble him but what are you doing is completely the opposite. That is certainly worth annoying.

Dont think you need a bowling coach to figure it out .
Such poor control is inexcusable.
Mushi is the bowling coach right ??

Mohd Asif's abscence has been the difference. When you have 2 bowlers bowling ruthlessly, it makes life very hard for the opposition.

They are bowling to Cook's strength unfortunately. Not learning too which is silly.

I was told that he will struggle big time against our pacers, who are much better than the Sri Lankan ones.

Pakistani pacers in general have been poor. You can see what the absence of Waqar is doing to this aspect of the game.

It's not as if our pacers have played 30/40 games to be called experienced. England have really benefited from this lack of disclipine and strategy.

I agree with this notably Mohammad Amir who has completely lost the plot on how to bowl to him..

Yeah we have bowled very poorly to Cook he starts every innings his first 30 40 runs he's always scoring at a run a ball. He's a good batsman but he isn't some AB that he will hit you 360 degrees. It's pretty clear how to bowl to Cook don't bowl on the pads or bowl short n wide to him. But our bowlers keep feeding his strengths we aren't making him work for his runs. He's a good enough player that we don't need to give him free runs.

Not just his absense.

He (Amir) isn't bowling like before at the moment.

Pitch map, Speed Gun, seam position, swing, Ave, SR, Wickets all tell this.

Hope he turns it around with better fitness and technical adjustments.

Wish Waqar would have dropped his ego and just held his hand up and been like "Instead of the head coach role, i will just be the fast bowling coach"

Would have loved him work with Amir but No body accepts demotion in Professional Life especially Ex Super Stars.
