I cannot fathom this.

What techincal work do we need to do to master KW? How many days ahead of the tour should we have arrived to acclimitize ourselves so we could face Williamson in full flow?

He isnt insurmountable by any stretch of imagination. He has the same issues like most. The 5th stump channel. Just need some discipline in bowling unless you can produce freakish deliveries.

I think the reference is to his bowling.

10 overs 2/32. And he's a part-timer. :(

Wasn't he called for chucking some time ago?

Pak batting has always been weak. In the past the bowlers have bailed it out time and time again. Now, even the bowlers can not perform on an away series it seems. We do not have any batsman who is as efficient as Guptill or Williamson.

Last game it was Munro Gillespie and today Shane 'Williampson' Warne. If we are not going to charge even against part timers then we deserve to get thrashing like today.

This old 90s batting strategy is also to be blamed. I am pretty sure it was management's plan no matter who bowls till 40 over just take 1s and 2s and not try to play big shot. This is not how we are going to achieve 300+ runs. Never.

We don't play modern cricket. We tend to play slow n steady, take your time and be patient when actually against a bowler like Kane Williamson you should go after him. He should be you best and easy source of runs.

New Zealand played slow cricket too until they upped the tempo right at the end
The way they flicked through the gears so smoothly it was tantalising to watch

Not sure why they played so slow after spotting the rising run rate and leaving it so late to win such effortlessly manner
