It was certainly the best I've ever seen in my life time. I think you'll find it very hard to think of a better one if you consider the occasion, the pressure of the situation, and of course the conditions. All in all, it has to go down as our best run chase of all time in ODIs.

That will be Sharjah 86, forever. Only an epic chase in WC SF/Final can surpass Sharjah 86.

No certainly not. There's been plenty better in the past.

But still, this was an excellent run chase today.

How old are you? No offense. Just needed to know to get some context. This is no way the best chase ever lol

Any examples?

I realise I might be overrating this run chase because of the emotions that are running high right now lol. :))

WC 1992 SF was the greatest chase ever. playing in SF, chasing 262 against NZ at home, inzi comes and scores a 37 ball 60 which was UNHEARD OF AT THAT TIME.

Miandad's last ball six?

Inzi's heroics in 92 wc semi final?

Razzak's onslaught against South Africans in Uae?

Afridi's two 6s in last over against India in Asia cup?

Tight chases in important games.

Not even top 10 but I get it, I'm stoked to have won this game as well!

Okay yeah, can't believe I forgot Razzaq's innings. That should probably be ranked higher although it was a meaningless bilateral game.

Inzi's SF blitz and Miandad's last ball six were before my time but those two chases obviously rank higher too.

In terms of context, conditions, and Pakistan's reputation with respect to chasing, it defintley makes the top 10 at least for me.

It was a good chase but if a score of just under 250 in this modern era is considered our greatest chase ever then that is embarrasing for Pakistan.

This is definitely one of the best performances, probably only second to Abdul Razzaq's knock against South Africa in Abu Dhabi.

So happy about the win today. What a great one, chasing a plus 300 score is phenomenal!

I liked the Sri Lanka one more because it was the World Cup. But this is right up there.

Fakhar blitzkrieg against NZ in Bengaluru
Babar masterclass against NZ at Edgbaston
Riz 134 against SL at Hyderabad

Great chase, but the match was a glorified warm up prior to the Champion’s trophy. We’ve had far more meaningful chases

People need to relax, this is basically a warm up game for the CT. This is minnow like mentality, but in a sense Pak has become a minnow.
