We must be setting some kind of record now.

Pakistan have always been poor in Australia for last 2 decades.

The worrying trend though is losing to NZ away and at home in recent times. It shows how much pakistan has declined and NZ have improved.

This isn't a thread for the positive brigade, the "blessing in disguise" crew, and the ones who attacked me for saying games involving Pakistan aren't high quality. I'm sure in most of these games were absolutely thrashed.

Pakistan have always struggled in Australia and South Africa. Now New Zealand have joined the list.

England have been their relative forte both home and away.

Last 10 tests against Eng :
Draw, Draw, Lost, Lost, Won, Won, Lost, Lost, Won, Won.

Need another stat talking about Pakistan.

W 0, D 0, L 24, Hearts won 4

They used to be slightly better in NZ because NZ was weaker and also Pakistan had express pace bowlers. Now NZ has one of their ATG teams and also they are better players against raw pace than before. In SA/OZ they have to improve their game against bounce and also need to have bowlers that can exploit the bounce. Pakistan bowling is traditionally a "full length" bowling unit. This NZ side is an exceptional home side.

The true worth of this pathetic, minnow level team.

Pakistan cricket has become a joke in all formats and we will only get worse in the future.

Painful stats and the harsh reality.

Forget this, but we tried hard and nearly got a draw or nearly survived.

This is picking a different timeline for different countries. This makes it look worse than reality.

Pakistan has been always poor in Aus/SA. NZ it's just 3 tests and NZ has a very good team right now.

And they have a horrible ODI record too in those countries. Can anybody get stats for ODI’s? Like last 25?

We beat NZ in 2011 with a very mediocre bowling attack. Granted, that NZ side was pretty poor.

Well, Pakistan have won 7 series and only lost 2 series in NZL . So thats a tremendous record to have. Although they are on track to lose their 3rd series in NZL. In Aus and SA though, they have been pretty poor. In SA, only 1 drawn series in 1998, rest they have all lost.

Pakistan have not won an ODI series against Australia and England since 2002 and 2005 respectively. :)))

A truly embarrassing cricketing nation.

Actually thats a more shocking record. Test cricket one can understand as its not easy to win in red ball cricket but should have won atleast some ODI series. What do you think the reason could be?

Who cares about JAMODI series ? Pakistan was unbeaten in test series against England for 10 years and won their last test series against Aus in 2018.

The reason is simple: Pakistan is one of the least talented teams in the world with no intelligence.

When will Pakistan next win a Test series in SENA ?

Pakistan's last test series win in SENA was back in 2011. So its nearly been 10 years since they last won a series in SENA. Overall though they have the most number of series win (10) in SENA countries for an asian team. India last won in SENA in Aus in 2019 and Sri Lanka also won in SA in 2019. But its been a decade since Pakistan last won a test series in SENA. So the question is when will Pakistan next win a series in SENA?

Pakistans biggest chance of winning a test series in SENA is England, but that may take a long while too.

Take the E out, Pakistan can win in England but it won't be impressive since it's been done many times in the past. South Africa and Australia are the real unconquered territories.

Only 3 times in England. 7 times in NZL. Can't ever see Pak winning in Aus, though.

NZ is not the same side anymore. I cant see Pakistan (or most other teams) beating them in NZ anytime soon.

Well, they are going through a golden period, but they will become beatable at home, when this golden generation retires.

That was just 2 players. This time they have a gun bowling attack too.

Boult Southee, Williamson can play 4-5 years max. Most likely they will leave together which will create a massive transition period for NZL, not easy for any team. This current NZL team has anyway lost to Aus and SA at home, while the 1980's NZL didn't lose any home series.

NZ will even smash Australia in NZ like they smashed India.

NZ are a wonderful team and to think cricket isn't even their top two sports, and a population of 5 million, what an awesome sporting country.

Just think about it, they have won more Olympic medals than India, but then again thats not hard to do.

Don't think so. A weaker Aus team won there in 2016.

Pretty much the same NZL team and MCcullum was the captain.

NZ is a better team now, but the thing is they have always punched above their weight.

For a nation of just 5 million, and with cricket, not even their national sport they are a great sporting nation.

Even Australia with all the sports in Australia, we have taken on the world and have always come out on top or near the top.

They haven't beaten Australia in a test series since 31 years. Last time they beat Australia in a test series, Sir Richard Hadlee was still playing.

I don't see this record improving any time soon.

NZ was probably our best hope to win a Test or two there but that ship has sailed now too.

I think this problem is not limited to cricket, as a nation we are at a downfall for a very long time now.

let me make it more simple

CRICKET IS GOING HOCKEY ROUT AND SOON NO ONE WILL PLAY-CRICKET TOOOOOOOO.

I doubt if these 3 countries will ever invite pak again, pretty sure ICC have some level of standard touring teams have to perform by.

This NZ side is perhaps one of their strongest ever in history. Even the NZ side under Flemming was pretty strong. The NZ teams that Wasim Waqar feasted on in NZ in 1992, 1993, 1994 were extremely poor teams with none of the batsmen or bowlers having work class stats

Finally when Waqar toured NZ in 2001 when NZ were a strong team, he struggled badly

I remember Shoaib absolutely battering their team in NZ and us winning the series easily with MoYo chasing down 270 odd with complete ease.

I am waiting for Pakistan to at least draw a test match in Australia.
