MoHa at 3 now that he is specialist bat, Babar at 4; Malik bowls a bit and they drop Imad for a specialist spinner to cover MoHa's absence. Till 2019 WC, there are lot of matches in SAF, NZ & UK - otherwise, one opener would have been sacrificed.

Haris, Babar and Imam all in the top 4 isn't ideal in terms of being aggressive, however is pretty stable, and hopefully the guys coming in after can make up for that. A left and right hand combination probably would have been better at the top too, not both left handers. But not much can be done now.

Think Haris is too much of a talent even if he's not a good a hitter as we would like coming in the team. Only other player apart from Babar that could potentially average 45/50 and plays both spin and pace well.

I'd go with:

2. Fakhar
3. Babar
4. Haris
5. Sarfraz
6. Malik
7. Imad
8. Shadab
9. Amir
10. Usman
11. Hasan Ali

I'd keep Talat in the squad and if he plays, play him at 6. The way it looks I don't see Haris playing consistently for us anyway, injury/fitness concerns so will have plenty of chance to play. And the way our test team is looking, think Mickey will prioritize Haris in tests opposed to LOI.

He had already corrected his action in the previous ODI. Remember, this test will be "treated" as if it's his first test so he will have a chance to rectify and redo the test (which I expect him to pass), and come back into the team.

Won't be that easy this time - they'll ask him to keep bowling until they are satisfied that he is replicating the same action for which he was called. If it was so easy, no bowler would have been banned, in fact there was no point for such tests then. Anyone can bowl with a clean action at nets, it's not some special gymnastic drill. Also, fool me once ........

But, I have to say the guy is utter shameless - he did chuck deliberately, knowing that he is cheating. When called, went back to clean action - it's actually morally lower than doping for me, for a player representing national team for almost 2 decades and had been Captain as well in an WC. On top of that, the guy did Oscar winning dramatics about honesty, integrity ... when Amir was reinstated after serving his ban. And,now he is ranked one all-rounder in ODI.

Its a problem because hafeez acts as insurance for shadab and would have done for fahim also when he ia selected.
But now imad who is the more steady bowler will get more of a lookin as he is a tighter bowler whereas shady and fahim will have bad days

No I don't have doubts. He will bat at 3. Hafeez will be booted out or remain at 4.
