YK speaking in riddles:
"Lot of people say that Younis Khan has a habit of leaving things in the middle but let me say that when I was on my way back after retiring, the PCB Chairman said, come and take a job with the PCB; So I thought about it for 3 years and then took this job in 2020; Everyone from food seller to PCB were telling me to take this job and I took it now 6-7 months later, I am at this position again; I thought I would give my support to the PCB but if someone doesn't want my support then what else can I do?"
"One shouldn't talk much about this - if I do that then it wont be good - After a 4-6 months gradually I will start to speak about it"
Why is he always talking in third person like The Rock?
There is no way he is waiting 4-6 months. I say give it 4-6 days
Already starting dropping a few hints and one or two quotes on tv.
Hindsight is a wonderful thing but it was surprising that PCB employed YK, knowing fully well that it would end in drama.
What has he said so far? What are these 2-3 quotes? Please do share with us. Thanks

So who is coaching Pakistan now? if we didnt need a coach in the first place then why was YK with the side in the first place?
We are so lucky to have such a level headed guy in Wasim Khan who gives responses which comes straight out of the perfect textbook.Wasim Khan speaking to PakPassion.net about the Younis Khan resignation:
PakPassion.net: How disappointing was it that Younis Khan resigned from his position as the national team’s batting coach?
Wasim Khan: There is no doubt in my mind that Younis Khan is a legend of Pakistan cricket. During his playing days, he was the master at understanding what was required to deliver on the big stage consistently. He is someone who I have the utmost amount of respect for as an ex-player and our relationship reflects that. We were having conversations on a regular basis, but he had a number of concerns, regarding what he saw and what he was observing regarding Pakistan cricket and there was also a slight disagreement about the timeframes to join us on the tour of England as logistically it was a challenge for him and it didn’t work out. He wanted to part ways which we then agreed with, but the relationship remains intact. So much so that I could easily pick up the phone today and have a conversation with him. You have to respect people’s choices and the decisions that they make. Yes, it was disappointing for us because you want someone like Younis involved at that level, but I certainly wouldn’t write-off Younis Khan coming back and supporting and adding value in other areas of Pakistan cricket through coaching in future.

Reading between the lines, it seems that there were quite a few things he wasn't happy with and that this talk of resigning had been going on for a while.
Question is - why was anything not done to allay YK's concerns? or was he given an explanation?
According to news reports, he has been offered the batting coach role once again
Some worrying names being mentioned as part of the new PCB set-up.
Seems like we are going back in time.
Younis is best utilised at the grass root level, for the top job Pak need a foreign specialist with a proven resume
Younis will consider it beneath his dignity to work with junior players.

According to the Telegraph, Yorkshire are looking to appoint him as a batting coach.
