I’m not buying this whole resource management excuse from the PCB.

At the same time I don’t think the threat to PSL is the real reason for this decision.

Clearly PCB through Mohsin Naqvi is aware of things us common Pakistanis are not.

I haven’t seen that thread or what you exactly meant but this got me thinking things that aren’t being discussed right now.

We live in a phase of modern history where a lot of things are happening instantly. These few years are really crucial and i believe more international borders might be redrawn in this little phase than in last many decades or would be in coming many decades.

This is a time cricket comes last and national priorities must come first.

Its not hidden anymore as Saudis are openly claiming they might activate the defence pact with us.
We are in a odd situation given the overwhelming majority in our country remain Pro Iran in this war against US, Israel one of whom is a clear enemy of ours and the other sort of a dirty business partner over the years.

We do not want to attack Iran.
But as @Savak AND @Major have hinted, we are clearly under enormous pressure from US and Saudis to do "something". That something is a grey area and AM is trying his best to avoid even doing that but its a matter of how long we can continue to resist. The pressure is mounting and we are now talking about attacks on direct energy sources and not their travel routes. This is serious escalation that happened in the past week. Let's be real, we haven't been under this much diplomatic pressure since Bush gave us the ultimatum immediately afterward 9/11.
