I am not sure but I think PCB owns Gaddafi stadium Lahore & National stadium Karachi. So, they will not have to pay the rent.

Whereas Multan stadium is owned by the local govt.

Multan aren't happy about costs they incurred during the PSL, so they are trying to recover some of those costs too.

Seems like hosting Pakistan games at home is becoming an Azaab for these governments.

This is going to happen when the cost of hosting games is exponential. I don’t mind it for the sake of cricket returning but I’d rather spend that kind of money to host England, South Africa and Australia as these countries are marketable
