Now that these 4 players have moved on or it is confirmed that their careers are over. The PCB needs to host a grand farewell reception for these players in question hosting a ceremony with full blown entertainment, awards, cash awards, dinner e.t.c. Basically giving them a grand good bye

I know Ajmal may not be a popular choice but we shouldn't forget that this guy played a vital role in so many of our victories from 2011 to 2014, it is criminal given the way he has been forgotten and discarded in such a cold manner.

Lol at Ajmal being in this group.

Id rather have Yousuf

After their heroic performance in recent tour of New Zealand and Australia, they fully deserve it, why not. Then they narrowly beat mighty West Indians, an all time great team.

Does your sum total of cricket knowledge just limited to few months or can you analyse longer time periods?

Good idea. Ajmal fully deserves it as well and has won us more matches across formats than the other three combined but he's still trying to make a comeback.

Younis, Misbah, Yousuf, Afridi and Razzaq should all be part of this ceremony. Maybe Gul as well, but like Ajmal, he's still trying to make a comeback.

A farewell match for all those who never had a farewell match and just pushed out of the team would be a good idea but would it be an international match or perhaps a Pakistan Farewell XI vs. a competitive domestic/youth team in Pakistan to give the home fans a chance to see their heroes live for one last time. This would be perfect for the fans as they haven't see most of these players in the Green Shirt in Pakistan recently.

Has ajmal retired yet? because last i heard he wanted to play on so how can you have a farewell party for someone who still wants to play?

Simple, by knocking sense into him that he is never going to ever be picked again and therefore it is better for him to retire and allow the PCB to honor him and let him bow out on a high.

Misbah ended up his test career with Pakistan team ranked 6th, the lowest ever.

When he left the T20 team, it was at its lowest T20 ranking and same was the case with ODI.

First Pakistani captain to lead the team in 6 consecutive test defeats.

Most test defeats as test captain in Asia.
