All life is equal but in todays worlds some lives seem to be more important than others based on ethnicity and nationality.

Which lives do you see given more importance to in order and why?

1. Israeli Jews
2. American(white)
3. European white
4. Other white lives Aussie etc.
5. Japanese/Korean(s)
6. Arab
7. Latino
8. Asian(brown, Pak, Indian etc
9. Oriental.
10. Black

Every society is an Eco Bucket. More you put into it, more it can payback.

Can you expand?

Black lives are percieved as the least valuable. Millions in Africa suffer but no protest.

Israeli Jews get murdered, you'll know his/her name in the first report on the news.

Top 3 in OP list are societies where individuals own their societies and vice versa. No one waits for executive orders to improve society. Most people pay taxes, keep environment neat and clean, follow law and order. They have their individual interests but if we compare individual interests vs interests of society as a whole its like 75:25. Everyone put 25-30% of their resources (Taxes, Environment, Skills everything) into bucket. Bucket is strong enough to support them in times of crisis.

Bottom 3 in OP list have this ratio like 95:5.
Where individuals put just 5% or less into the bucket and cost more through collateral damage. The bucket is not strong enough to support them in times of crisis.

Right in middle group are societies with 85:15.

At top, It was Mohammad Bin Qasim centuries ago, its Israel/USA now.

In general,
Leaders make Nations
Then Lawyers shape the Nation
Then Scholars sustain the Nation
Then Labour/White collars pull the Nation forward.
Then comes the Pride which is product of all these and with that Value of life increases.

Bottom of list in OP are societies who are Nations in bad shape, unsustainable and stagnant.

Good points, thanks. I agree there are many social and economic reasons but what is your list or do you agree with mine?

Btw this list is in regards to the mindset of people esp in the west, most haven't a scooby doo as to the reasons as you do.

All lives matter equally.

Western lives are probably valued more in media because of obvious reasons.

For Value of life to prevent unnatural deaths, list is very accurate.
In case of Valuing life vs natural deaths, I will have america lower down at 5 tied with Arabs. Europe and Japanese tied at 2. And australia at 4. With Indo-Pak at 10.
