Peshawar Zalmi defeat Karachi Kings by 44 runs in 9th match of PSL 4

Psl has to have one of the worst selection of foreign players. Why even waste money on them?

Or why even have a rule that stipulates you must play 4 overseas players ? Yet when you point out these obvious flaws, PSL fans are on you like white on rice.

KK probably thinking too far ahead and playing for NRR :uakmal

KK batting is really WEAK. I thought LQ had a weak batting line up but what the were KK thinking?

How hard is to pick the likes of manzoor, haris, saad or saud etc.

WOW

Yeah, it's Babar or bust for them. Livingstone is fine when he comes off but you can't rely on him, the same way you can't rely on Fakhar.

Ingram has been unlucky a few times because he's middling the ball really well. Sikandar Raza is just terrible. The less said about Rizwan, the better. They really need to use this mid season trade window to get some firepower in.

Compare this batting line-up to someone like Quetta and you can see the gulf in class.

IA and IA. i'm not making any claim waii, i'm just saying that Hasan has improved a lot while Amir hasn't in terms of fitness.

I don't think Amir can be fit, he has knee issues, not too many years left in him...

None of our bowlers can maintain speeds in test, hardly in ODI..

Karachi batting is terrible, probably worse, Babar and Ingram are hiding lot of it...

Rizwan should be dumped for good, he is not international material

Looking at PSL, you know why Akmal Clang is in the news all the time. They are the only one still who can play pace with authority. Both Babar and UA are must for WC...

Short movie?

Watching paint dry is better than this spectacle.

Honestly, do you think this high quality cricket ? Watching teams stacked full of journeymen cricketers struggle to even go at 8 RPO in a T20 ?

Answer objectively and not with green tinted glasses.

LOL at people blaming Rizwan. What has Imad done to help the cause here?

Rizwan was the clutch player and the finisher couple months ago now supporters of Rizwan are hiding. Imad played as an all rounder and did enough damage with his bowling, and this is the third failure for Rizwan

The bowling in PSL is too good for the batting. Todays game is a good example, no way the poor quality batting of KK will score against Hasan and co.

The foreign players should be at MAX 3. KK is a very poor team batting wise so that does result in pathetic batting.

150 should have been chased bu they are so low on quality.

Poor pitch and substandard level of cricket.

But kudos to Imam - excellent performance from him on a poor batting wicket

Oh come on man, these bowling figures will look vastly different when they play on true Pakistani wickets. Hasan Ali we know is a class bowler but the figures of the others are flattered by the conditions.

These sluggish UAE surfaces devoid of pace and bounce make it difficult for batsmen to time their shots or hit through the line of the ball. That means par scores are lower in this league compared to others which some mistake for a higher quality of bowling, which isn't terrible by any means, but not as good as we'll see when PSL moves to Pakistan.

Like i said a bit of both. The players are also not good enough. Cant blame the wickets all the time.

150 is gettable by playing sensible cricket.

:)) :))

if imad wasn't so insecure and bowled umer khan, they may have ended up chasing a much smaller target

Isn't Colin Munro playing for KK this year ? He could make a difference .

Always good seeing the most ovverated franchise getting beaten black and blue though. :))

Kaarachi´s batsmen never quite showed the stomach to fight. They gave it all away way too easily. At the half-way mark I was expecting it to be a one-sided affair but in Karachi´s favour. I thought they´d walk away with it with much ease, but not to be. I think Sammy´s little cameo played a huge part in lifting Peshawar. A special mention here must go to Imam-ul-Haq. What a special innings it was yesterday, what great stroke-play by him yesterday! The way he walks down the track to bludgeon the ball to the boundary, for a moment it reminded me of Hayden. Seeing him go at a slow pace in ODIs, I never thought that he has other gears to his approach. Good to see. A delight to watch!

Seems like all their planning and effort went into the bowling. Such a garbage batting lineup. I hope they pick some batsmen in the mid-season trade. Saud Shakeel or Saad Ali.

Or may be Faisal Iqbal to add salt to wound.

Babar Azam
Ben Dunk
Liam Livingstone
Ali Imran
Awais Zia
Colin Munro

Six openers
