There is no point taking a WK in his late 30s, 2 years before a WC. Therefore KAkmal shouldn't be part of future teams, particularly when the Captain is also a WK. It's a question weather KAkmal is good enough to make the team as specialist bat or not - may be he is now for his excellent form, but he is at an age that he might struggle any time in recent future. Rather, it's better to invest that on someone young like Talat.

AUS was a different case - his game suits the wicket there & regular WK was out of the squad prior to the tour. As Sarfu's replacement WK KAkmal could have kept that series alive till last match.
