Absolute brilliance from Shaheen Shah Afridi. He's bowled with pace, aggression, consistency, accuracy and swung the ball. .

The difference in pace between Hasnain and Hassan Ali was so clear when I was watching them bowling during the innings break. Hasnain is sharp, very sharp. Hassan looked like a bowler who is really struggling, the ball was barely reaching Azhar Mahmood behind the stumps.

The crowd looking nervous and very anxious here as Pakistan struggle in this chase.

Just saw Ramiz Raja - he said 100% Pakistan win.

Then I saw Wasim Akram, he was less confident and felt Pakistan let NZ off the hook when the BlackCaps were batting.

The difference in class between Professor and Babar is so clear watching them live - but Prof is hanging in there for all his life :)

Ferguson gave Hafeez a good working over but he's somehow still out there.

One of those, I was there days.

Incredible day, what an atmosphere and a very good performance also.

The Pakistan team bus was surrounded by hundreds of fans long after the match :)

One of the English journos at the end of the match came up to me and said Dil Dil Pakistan :)

There's an admiration for Pakistan cricket across the world particularly given that these boys can't play international cricket at home.

There was a very strange incident during Babar Azam's press conference. A member of the public sneeked into the press area and it was only until half-way through the presser that security realised and eventually managed to remove him.

Babar was very composed at the press conference, calm, no ego - it was like he had just been playing a game of cricket with his friends in the local park.
