In T20, you have only 90 seconds to be ready to face the ball after wicket has fallen... For ODI, you have 3 minutes and for tests not sure but I think it's same as ODI

40.1 Out Timed out

40.1.1 After the fall of a wicket or the retirement of a batsman, the incoming batsman must, unless Time has been called, be in position to take guard or for the other batsman to be ready to receive the next ball within 3 minutes of the dismissal or retirement. If this requirement is not met, the incoming batsman will be out, Timed out.

40.1.2 In the event of an extended delay in which no batsman comes to the wicket, the umpires shall adopt the procedure of Law 16.3 (Umpires awarding a match). For the purposes of that Law the start of the action shall be taken as the expiry of the 3 minutes referred to above.

40.2 Bowler does not get credit

The bowler does not get credit for the wicket.

Poor from Alam, it's a lower standard of cricket. Firstly he should have been ready to come out and then causing damage to property is unacceptable. He should apologise to the umpires, fans and the club, paying for the glass.

Would of been even funnier if you didn't include the bracets bit, any poster would of guessed the burn, no idea why you thought you had to explain.

Good on him. Should pay the $ for his mistake but he needs to show more flair and rage. Being a nice guy isn't working for him so it's time for a different approach. Should start giving some fiery statements in the media as well

In a message to PakPassion, Fawad clarified the issue

He said that he was timed out, then told to come out to bat within 60 seconds then the captain appealed, so umpire gave it out. The opposition didnt show any sportsman spirit.

It's kind of humbling to see an international cricketer taking a Lancashire league game seriously enough to break a window because of a dodgy decision. I bet he was one of his kids who threw the toys out of his pram all the time.
