The Israeli embassy complained about this statue in a Madrid museum in 2010 but wondering how each of us interprets this.

The Muslim submits to God fully and is oblivious of his surroundings when worshipping.

The Christian is halfway committed between God and the world.

The Jew pays lip service to religion but stands fully in this world and his surroundings.

One version I saw said something like this

If the Muslim stands up, all others will fall.

Muhammad Asad (previously named Leopold Weiss) was born into the Jewish faith and subsequently converted to Islam in early 20th Century Europe. He's written quite a few books on 'his journey'

Here is a video of an interview with him

It could also be interpreted as the Jew stands on the shoulders of Christianity and the Muslim bears the burden of them both.

This picture i believe is targeting the Jewish influence in the media which is why he’s at the top. If you notice in the background there’s a Jewish menorah with the base shaped like a gun which could mean they’re using their religion to take the land of Palestine! There’s many reasons why the Muslim dude is at the bottom, one of them being that it shows him being oppressed by the Christians and the Jews, the other reason could be that it shows he has strong faith in his religion!

The status and influence of people with respective religious in the World.

As usual , Muslims are at the bottom of the barrel .

If there wasn't the religious theme to the statue you could argue that, but if religion is the barometer then it is more likely that he is the one who is most grounded ( literally) in his belief, and therefore the most successful in the eyes of God.

Reminds me of Caste heirarchy.

Brahmins at Top, Kshatriyas at the middle and Shudras at the bottom.

Brahmins = Jews.
Kshatriyas = Christians (They have the fire power)
Shudras = Muslims.

Non Abrahamic Faith people = Untouchables :(

Ver 1.0 Program launched
Ver 2.0 some upgrades and modifications made
Ver 3.0 final release although still some critical updates needed

The Jew only dominates when others are subdued by tricks ; and if the Muslim stands up, they'll all fall.

Many interpretations on the statue noted now.

I'm now interested as to how people here would interpret the candlestick in the shape of the gun in the background to the pic in the OP.

This is very interesting as candle represents peace while gun represents violence!

I see this as peace prevailing and on top after violence.

Interesting to see how others see this.

What an embarrassing picture with the Muslim being the donkey.

Looks entirely political.

Jews dominate the world on the back of Christians, and both have subdued the Muslims, who are too embroiled in matters of religion to realise what's being done to them by the other two groups. If the Muslim realises, and stands up, the Jew and Christian will fall.

The standing guy seems more inclined towards, Hinduism, Buddhism, rather than Judaism. However we ourselves have incorporated the Sajdah into almost everything in a forced manner, even during the Asia cup I saw the bearded guy in the Pakistani team asking all the team mates to prostrate after a goal when the others were running around trying to celebrate as they felt. Maybe get rid of this Mullah culture and have a less submissive posture to begin with.

Probably means that they have a filter that can kill 7 people at a time.

Sajda or prostration is a part of prayer/salat. Our cricketers have made it in to some sort of statement doing it after completing every milestone. What goal did we score in the Asia Cup after which someone asked the players to prostrate?. One player starts something and the rest just follow without thinking in the Pak side.

It's in the SAFF cup thread, in the highlights, the bearded guy calls everyone to do a Sajdah and after that every goal was celebrated by a Sajdah.

Watch the highlights of the SAFF Championship match, Pakistan vs Nepal. Everyone are running and celebrating, and the bearded guy calls the entire team over to the goal, and makes them all do sajda together in a line.

It is fine if a player does it on his own, as his celebration, but this sort of thing is a bit over the top in my opinion.
