[PICTURE] Imam-ul-Haq ruled out of the 2nd Test due to fracture in left hand

Imam ul Haq injury:
Imam ul Haq while fielding today during the first Test match has fractured his left hand's fifth finger and has been ruled out from the second Test match against Australia.

Am sure shan Masood is on hie way to UAE as we speak ;)

Perfect opportunity to bring in a genuine spinner!

Call up Zafar Gohar, Mohammed Asghar or even Kashif Bhatti, but bring in a genuine spinner and not someone based on the ability to bat.

Isnt Zafar Gohar an alrounder?

Our batting is already thin. How can we replace a batsman with a bowler.

Wahab Riaz needs to go, and bring in a proper bowler

Mickey has indicated to play Fakhar in next match but he isn't really going to make a decision atm.

Things going from bad to worse. I hope Australia doesn't play Agar in the second test and if they win the toss, I'd really start worrying for Pakistan.

Bad luck for the kid.

What Ul Haq will do now - send Amir or Afridi as replacement? 6 pacers will be ideal preparation for WC.

I guess Azhar will open and Saad Ali or Salahuddin comes in the middle order.

Though not a fan of this but Azhar-Hafeez opening partnership and Salahuddin/Fakhar in the middle order will most likely happen.

I hope we don't pick Usman Salahuddin for the 2nd test. Him and Azhar Ali batting together and scoring 10 runs off 300 balls would be absolute torture

Get fakhar in the side and get Azhar to open, we need to be more forceful and score quicker in 2nd game through whole inns.

Exactly... I don't understand why PPers hate him. He has been the most consistent batsman both in ODI and Test matches.

Has done consistently well against poor teams in Odis. Yes, so I agree he is consistent

He didn't get enough opportunities to play against big boys. However, his stats are still impressive

100 against SL
3 x 100s against Zim
50 against HK
80 against Afghanistan
and 80 against Bangladesh is still quite impressive for a newbie.

We’ve got hafeez as the minnow basher. Need something better

The clueless commentator was saying "I think he'll be okay for the next match". This is a big blow. He is a solid player.

Big Set back for Abu Dhabi match, he was our most Consistent opener. Hope he is back for New zealand Tests atleast if not Odis. Meanwhile Junaid Khan continues to impress, hope he makes a comeback for NZ tests. Wahab 'wicketless' Riaz can't be relied upon.

Imam ul Haq's injury update:
Surgery on Imam ul Haq left hand's fifth finger took place today at a local hospital, Dubai. The opening batsman after the surgery is back to hotel room and will fly back on Tuesday from Dubai.

The ODIs vs New Zealand are before the Tests.

I wonder if Imam can be our No 3 with Azhar Ali opening with Fakhar
