So this was classic thriller between the West Indies and Ireland which West Indies ended up winning on the second last ball of the game but this run out was very clearly out even from all the angles. The law states the ball should be in the players hand when breaking with stumps which it clearly was as the bowler had his finger tip on the ball when the bails were broken. I seriously think Ireland have been hard done by the local umpires they took forever to give the decision and gave it in the favour of their own team which it always looked like the umpire was going to do since he took forever to make the decision and why does the benefit have to go the batsman always plus the umpire said their isn’t conclusive evidence to overturn the original decision but it’s a run out there was no original decision. Anyways you guys can decide if it was out or not out thoughts.

Great game of cricket to watch.

This particular call could have gone either way, but the Irish bowler had the same chance to run out the next ball and he messed up.

Shoutout to Alzarri Joseph. Good young talent.

No they haven't. Evidence is inconclusive, which goes with the batsman in these situations.

Adair didn't have control of the ball and it was impossible to tell whether he, or the stumps actually dislodged the bails.

I agree with Ian Bishop.

The fielder had the ball in his hands.

The ball slips out of his hands.

The empty hands break the bails.

Then the ball hits the stumps while the bails are breaking.

The fielder didn't have control of the ball.

Ian Bishop is a very bias man when it comes to West Indies or Jamaican cricketers especially. His commentary is extreme cringe first of all he commentates like he’s analyzing a business report and makes simple things look so complicated. He was going off when alzarri Joseph hit those fours like the mighty West Indies are playing a top ranked side like Australia or India. The bails were off the grove completly yet the umpire kept saying one frame back cause he wanted the frame where it would look not out but it didn’t look not out there as well and even than he gave it not out cause he had already made up his mind.

I'm sorry but I respectfully disagree. I saw the match live and as much as I wanted Ireland to win, Ireland/Adair simply chocked it.

The bails would have come off as a result of the ball's momentum but his Adair's went through the stumps first.

What they are talking about , umpire was right and made the right decision.

It took TV umpire almost 7-8 minutes to make the decision, so many slow motioned and zoomed shots were reviewed and there was no conclusive evidence to give the run out although it looked as the fielder's hand disturbed the stumps and ball had slipped out of his hand.

At the end everyone, including the commentators and even the Irish players agreed the right decision was made.

If you think Ian Bishop is biased, I wonder who is unbiased to you.

Btw, neither Bishop nor Alzarri (or Carlos "remember the name" Braithwaite) are Jamaican.
